Content Understanding
- State the comprehensive content of the text; identify the representative details, topics, stories, characters in the entirety of the work.
- Recognize and analyze the themes, ideas, messages that the text wishes to convey to the reader through the artistic forms of the text; analyze some bases to determine the theme.
- Recognize and analyze the feelings, emotions, and dominant inspiration of the writer expressed through the text.
Form Understanding
- Recognize and analyze the role of imagination in receiving literary works.
- Identify some elements of comedies, historical stories such as plot, background, character, language.
- Identify and analyze single-linear plot and multi-linear plot.
- Identify and analyze the effect of some main artistic techniques of satirical poetry.
- Recognize elements of poetic laws in the seven-character eight-line and four-line Tang poetry such as: structure, regulation, rhyme, rhythm, pairing.
- Identify and analyze the unique features of the poem expressed through words, images, structure, emotional flow.
- Recognize and analyze some elements of comedy such as: conflict, action, character, dialogue, satirical techniques.

- Understand that each reader may have a personal approach to a literary text; respect and learn from others' approaches.
