Based on the general education program for Literature, as promulgated with Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDDT, the general orientation for teaching methodology in Grade 8 Literature is as follows:

The Literature program applies educational methods following a general orientation of integrative and differentiated teaching; diversifying organizational forms, methods, and teaching tools; promoting active, proactive, and creative learning and the application of students' knowledge and skills.

Based on the program, teachers actively and flexibly build and organize lessons according to the following orientations:

- Implementing integrative requirements within the subject (both knowledge and skills), interdisciplinary integration, and priority educational content (transversal subjects); differentiating teaching according to student levels at all levels, and differentiation contributing to career orientation at the high school level.

- Training students in reading, writing, speaking, and listening methods; practicing and experiencing the reception and application of Vietnamese language knowledge and literature through various in-class and extracurricular activities; focusing on the use of teaching tools, overcoming rote learning, promoting thinking, and training skills using tools for students.

- Enhancing and promoting students' positivity and independence; allocating more time for students to study textbooks and learning materials, practice, present, discuss, and defend learning outcomes to enable them to read, write, speak, and listen according to different requirements and levels; evaluating the execution of students' learning tasks.

What is the end date of the 2024-2025 academic year in Vietnam?
