3. Assessment form for subjects

a) Assessment by comments for subjects: Physical Education, Arts, Music, Fine Arts, Local Education Content, Experiential Activities, Career Guidance; the learning results for these subjects are assessed by comments in 01 (one) of 02 (two) levels: Pass, Not Pass.

b) Combined assessment by comments and scores for subjects in the General Education Program, except for subjects specified in point a above; the learning results for these subjects are assessed by scores on a 10-point scale. If another scale is used, it must be converted to the 10-point scale. The score is an integer or a decimal rounded to the nearest tenth.

Thus, except for Physical Education, Arts, Music, Fine Arts, Local Education Content, Experiential Activities, Career Guidance, learning results for other subjects are assessed by a combination of comments and scores.

According to Article 6 of Circular 22/2021/TT-BGDDT:

Frequent Assessment

1. Frequent assessment is conducted through: questioning and answering, writing, presentations, practice, experiments, learning products.

2. For each subject, each student is checked and assessed multiple times, selecting a few appropriate times for the teaching progress according to the education plan of the professional group, recording the assessment results in the tracking and assessment book (by class) for use in assessing subject learning results as stipulated in clause 1 of Article 9 of this Circular, as follows:

a) For subjects assessed by comments (excluding thematic clusters): select 02 (two) times each semester.

b) For subjects assessed by a combination of comments and scores (excluding thematic clusters), select the number of frequent assessment points (abbreviated as FAP) in each semester as follows:

- Subjects with 35 periods/year: 02 FAP.

- Subjects with more than 35 periods/year up to 70 periods/year: 03 FAP.

- Subjects with more than 70 periods/year: 04 FAP.
