1. Author

Nguyen Tuan, born on July 10, 1910, on Hang Bac Street, Hanoi, originally from Thuong Dinh village, Nhan Muc commune (locally known as Moc village), now part of Nhan Chinh ward, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi. He passed away on July 28, 1987. He began his writing career around the early 1930s but became famous in 1938.

2. Main Content

The story "Chu nguoi tu tu" tells about the situation of giving letters under a very ironic setting between two contrasting characters, Huan Cao and the prison warden.

Huan Cao, the prisoner, was the leader of a rebellion against the court. Before facing execution, he was brought to a prison. Knowing that Huan Cao, the famous calligrapher, was on the list, the prison warden had the cells cleaned for Huan Cao and other death row inmates. During Huan Cao's imprisonment, the warden showed special treatment to him and his comrades. The warden's wish was to have a calligraphy piece from Huan Cao.

The work "Chu nguoi tu tu" is composed of 3 parts:

- Part 1 (From the beginning to "let's probe his intentions and then act accordingly"): the conversation between the prison warden and the clerk

- Part 2 (continued to "I almost failed a heart in the world"): The warden's special treatment.

How are the learning outcomes of Liturature for Grade 10 in Vietnam assessed?

Clause 3, Article 5 of Circular 22/2021/TT-BGDDT stipulates the assessment form as follows:

  1. Assessment form for subjects

a) Assessments by comments for subjects: Physical Education, Arts, Music, Fine Arts, Local Education Content, Experiential Activities, and Career Guidance; the learning results for such subjects are assessed by comments according to either of the following two levels: Pass, Not Pass.

b) Assessments by a combination of comments and scores for subjects in the General Education Program, except for the subjects mentioned in item a of this clause; the learning results for such subjects are assessed by scores on a 10-point scale. If another scale is used, it must be converted to the 10-point scale. The score can be an integer or a decimal rounded to the first decimal place.

Thus, Grade 10 Literature is assessed by a combination of comments and scores. The learning results for the subject are assessed by scores on a 10-point scale.
