What are procedures for selecting key management personnel of general education institutions in Vietnam?
According to Clause 2, Article 12 of the Regulations issued attached to Circular 14/2018/TT-BGDDT, the process for selecting key management personnel of general education institutions is carried out as follows:
- The head of the Department of Education and Training selects and approves the list of key management personnel of general education institutions under their authority and reports to the Department of Education and Training;
- The director of the Department of Education and Training selects and approves the list of key management personnel of general education institutions under their authority, compiles the list of key management personnel of general education institutions in the locality, and reports to the Ministry of Education and Training.
What are the duties of key management personnel of general education institutions in Vietnam?
According to Clause 3, Article 12 of the Regulations issued attached to Circular 14/2018/TT-BGDDT, the key management personnel of general education institutions have the following duties:
- Supporting the management personnel of general education institutions in the locality in developing leadership and school administration capabilities based on the standards for principals of general education institutions, suitable to the local socio-economic development conditions, and the requirements for educational innovation;
- Providing support and advice to the management personnel of general education institutions in the locality to formulate self-study and self-development plans in leadership and school administration in accordance with the standards for principals of general education institutions;
- Coordinating with local educational management agencies and training institutions in compiling materials and resources; organizing training for teachers and the management personnel of general education institutions in the locality;
- Guiding and supporting teachers and the management personnel of general education institutions in participating in and implementing online training courses for teachers.
