According to Section 3 of the Implementation Plan for Enrollment for full-time Undergraduate and College programs in Early Childhood Education in 2024 issued with Decision 1139/QD-BGDDT in 2024, the time of announcement of results and confirmation of school admission is specified as follows:

- Announcement of admitted candidates in the first phase: No later than 17:00 on August 19, 2024.

- Online confirmation of school admission for the first phase on the System: No later than 17:00 on August 27, 2024.

Thus, universities will announce the cut-offs no later than 17:00 on August 19, 2024.

The timelines are as follows:

After obtaining the high school graduation exam scores, from today (July 18), candidates will proceed to register their aspirations used for admission to full-time undergraduate programs on the Ministry of Education and Training's enrollment system.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training's plan, candidates have 12 days (from July 18 - 17:00 on July 30) to register, adjust, and supplement their school admission aspirations an unlimited number of times on the Ministry of Education and Training's system at thisinh.thitotnghiepthpt.edu.vn.

No later than July 21, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the threshold for ensuring the quality of entrance for the teacher training and the health majors with a practice certificate.

Subsequently, from July 31 - 17:00 on August 6, candidates will pay the admission fee according to the number of aspirations registered through the online system.

The virtual filtering process will be conducted from August 13 - 17:00 on August 17. Thus, by August 17, universities can announce the matriculating results to candidates.

No later than 17:00 on August 19, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of first-phase cut-offs and admission results. Candidates who are admitted need to confirm their school admission online for the first phase on the system no later than 17:00 on August 27.

Supplementary admissions will be announced from August 28.

From September to December, subsequent admissions will be held, and the list of admitted candidates and their school admission will be updated as conformable.

According to the provisions of Article 5 Circular 09/2024/TT-BGDDT, the information on financial revenues and expenses of educational institutions that must be disclosed include:

- The financial health of the educational institution in the fiscal year preceding the reporting time as prescribed by law. Revenues and expenses are sorted as follows:

+ Revenues are sorted by the funding sources (state budget-derived funding, financial supports from investors; tuitions, charges and other amounts received from learners; donations and payments received under contracts from external parties; other funding sources) and by activities (education and training; science and technology; other activities);

+ Expenses include salaries and incomes (salaries, wages, allowances, increased salaries and other salary-similar payments paid to teachers, lecturers, educational managers, employees, etc.); expenses on physical facilities and services (expenses on purchase, maintenance, repair and operation of physical facilities, equipment, and hiring of services directly used in education, training, research and staff development, etc.); supports for learners (scholarships, subsidies, and supports for daily living, participation in events or movements, emulation, rewards, etc.); other expenses.

- Amounts collected from learners, including: tuitions, charges, and all amounts other than tuitions and charges (if any) collected in the current academic year and to be collected in each next year of the entire level of education or training course of the educational institution before enrolment.

- Annual policies on subsidies, tuition exemption and reduction, and scholarship, and performance results.

- Balances on funds, including specialized funds (if any).

- Other financial disclosure contents shall comply with regulations of law on finance, budget, accounting, audit and grassroots-level democracy.

What are the educational objectives of universities in Vietnam?

According to Article 5 of the Law on Higher Education 2012 amended by Point a, Clause 2, Clause 3, Article 77 of the Vocational Education Law 2014, the objectives of higher education programs are as follows:

- General objectives:

+ Training human resources, improving people's intellectual standards, nurturing talent; conducting scientific research and technology to create new knowledge and products, serving the requirements of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense, security, and international integration.

+ Educating learners with political qualities, ethics; relevant professional knowledge, practical skills, research capability, and application of science and technology at the corresponding training level; good health; creativity and professional responsibility, adapting to the working environment; a sense of serving the people.

- Specific objectives for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral training:

+ Undergraduate training aims to provide students with comprehensive professional knowledge, mastery of principles and rules of nature and society, fundamental practical skills, the ability to work independently, creativity, and the ability to solve problems related to their trained specialization.

+ Master's training aims to equip learners with foundational scientific knowledge, deep professional skills for conducting research in a scientific field or effective professional activity, the capability to work independently, creativity, and the ability to detect and solve problems related to their trained specialization.

+ Doctoral training aims to equip doctoral candidates with high-level theoretical and applied knowledge, independent research capability, creativity, the development of new knowledge, the discovery of principles and rules of nature and society, and solving new science and technology problems, guiding scientific research and professional activities.
