c) Not forcing students to take extra classes for material gain.

2. Staff must not obstruct or cause difficulties in supporting, assisting the teaching and educational work with students and other school activities.
Arbitrarily reducing educational content is one of the prohibited acts of primary school teachers in Vietnam.

* Additionally, the homeroom teachers, in addition to the above rights, also have the following rights:
- Attend the classes and educational activities of their managed class.
- Attend meetings of the commendation council and other councils when resolving issues related to students in their managed class.
- Attend training sessions and special topic conferences on class management.
- Have the right to allow individual students to take leave for up to 03 consecutive days.
- Reduce weekly teaching hours and other rights as regulated.
* Teachers in charge of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization enjoy the policies as regulated.
