1. The conduct and attire of teachers and staff shall comply with the regulations of the education sector and the law, paying particular attention to:
a) Not distorting educational content, teaching incorrect knowledge.
b) Not committing fraud in evaluation, intentionally misassessing the educational results of students.
c) Not forcing students to take extra classes for material gain.
d) Not skipping classes, missing teaching sessions, or arbitrarily reading educational content.
dd) Not insulting the dignity and honor, or infringing upon the body, of others; not smoking; drinking alcohol or beer; causing disorder and security issues.
2. Staff must not obstruct or cause difficulties in supporting, assisting the teaching and educational work with students and other school activities.
Arbitrarily reducing educational content is one of the prohibited acts of primary school teachers in Vietnam.
Thus, primary school teachers are not allowed to arbitrarily reduce educational content.

What are the rights of primary school teachers in Vietnam?
Under Article 29 of the Primary School Charter issued with Circular 28/2020/TT-BGDDT regulating the rights of primary school teachers in Vietnam:
* Teachers and staff have the following rights:
- Enjoy salaries, allowances, benefits, and other policies as regulated; change professional titles; be protected in terms of dignity, honor, and health, and enjoy material and spiritual benefits as regulated.
- Independently implement professional tasks with support from professional groups and the school in selecting and adjusting educational content; apply various educational activities and methods, and assess students appropriately for the specific student population and school conditions.
- Be facilitated in studying to improve skills, receive professional training; enjoy salaries, and allowances according to the law, and other policies when authorized for study and training.
- Be rewarded, conferred commendations, and other honorary titles as regulated.
- Exercise other rights as stipulated by law.
* Additionally, the homeroom teachers, in addition to the above rights, also have the following rights:
- Attend the classes and educational activities of their managed class.
- Attend meetings of the commendation council and other councils when resolving issues related to students in their managed class.
- Attend training sessions and special topic conferences on class management.
- Have the right to allow individual students to take leave for up to 03 consecutive days.
- Reduce weekly teaching hours and other rights as regulated.
* Teachers in charge of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization enjoy the policies as regulated.
