"The Heroic Teenager" is a very meaningful story about the brave child: Nguyen Ba Ngoc.
Nguyen Ba Ngoc was born and raised during a time when our country was going through intense warfare. Every day, he had to attend school with his friends amidst evacuation in underground shelters. On April 4, 1965, enemy aircraft bombed the area where Ngoc lived. At that time, the adults were all working in the fields; only children remained at home. Upon hearing the planes, Ngoc quickly ran to the shelter. But right then, he heard a scream coming from the neighbor's house. Sensing trouble, Ngoc rushed out of the shelter, dashed to the neighbor's house to check. There, Ngoc discovered that his friend Khuong had died from the bombing, and Khuong's siblings were crying in anguish. Without a moment's hesitation, Ngoc carried the youngest child back to his shelter. He then returned to carry the other two siblings home. After bringing all three children safely to his shelter, Ngoc realized that he had been gravely injured. His shirt was soaked with bright red blood. He was taken for emergency treatment but did not survive due to the severity of his wounds. Nguyen Ba Ngoc died heroically at the age of just fourteen.
Nguyen Ba Ngoc is a figure of bravery and heroism whom I greatly respect and admire. My friends and I are immensely proud of his great example.

In the book "Collection of Stories about Brave Children," I especially love the story "Little Forest Guardian" by author Nguyen Thi Cam Chau.
The main character in the story is a boy around my age. Despite being young, he had a great love for lush green forests. According to his account, this love was partly inherited from his father, a forest ranger. One day, this young boy accidentally discovered many adult footprints leading into the forest. Remembering that no tourist groups had visited recently, he grew suspicious and followed the tracks. He discovered an area where over a dozen large trees had been felled and a timber smuggling gang was having a discussion. He heard them plan to transport the wood during the late night hours. He quickly followed a shortcut through the forest foliage to reach home and went straight to Miss Hai’s water shop, asking to make a phone call to inform the police. He carefully detailed the clues and information to the officers and even cooperated with them to catch the thieves and recover the wood. He pointed out the path the thieves would use to transport the wood out of the forest, as he knew all the routes here very well. Thanks to his help, the police successfully laid ropes across the path where the vehicle would pass, forcing the thieves to stop to remove them. At that moment, police officers raided and captured them all in one go. His bravery, intelligence, and wit were praised by the officers: “You are indeed a brave little forest guardian!”
The story "Little Forest Guardian" inspired in me a deep love for forests and admiration for the courage of a peer. Surely, in the future, he will follow in his father’s footsteps to become a competent forest ranger.

The story "The 6-Year-Old Inventor" is an interesting read I recently came across. It tells about Maria - a talented and creative child.
Maria is a little girl only 6 years old. Despite her young age, she already displays the traits of a future scientist, a professor. That is her passion and fascination with exploring everything around her. During a family party, Maria noticed something unusual about the teacup in the servant's hand. Just earlier, the teacup had been sliding on the saucer. Yet, in a blink of an eye, after spilling a little, the teacup stood still. Realizing the issue, Maria sneaked into the kitchen, and recreated the scene she had witnessed to find the answer. After several experiments, mimicking the servant’s actions with the tea tray, she discovered the answer. The substance that made the teacup stay put and adhere to the saucer was the tea itself. When she shared this discovery with her father, he was overjoyed. He immediately lifted Maria in his arms and introduced her to all the guests as the seventh-generation professor of their family. Indeed, as she grew, Maria became a famous professor teaching at prestigious universities and even received a Nobel Prize in Physics - a dream for all professors and researchers worldwide.
From the story "The 6-Year-Old Inventor," I learned about a young prodigy with outstanding talent. Little Maria not only evokes admiration and respect but also ignites in me the aspiration to become as successful as she is.
