Ha Long Bay is distinguished by its more than 1,600 islands, many of which have unique shapes. Some famous islands include Ti Top Island, Sung Sot Island, and Cat Ba Island. Tourists visit not only to enjoy the beautiful scenery but also to participate in activities such as kayaking, swimming, or exploring marvelous caves.

What are the perspectives on the development of the Literature curriculum in Vietnam?

According to the General Education Program for Literature issued with Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDDT:

The Literature curriculum adheres to the fundamental regulations outlined in the overall program while emphasizing several perspectives:

- The Literature curriculum is developed based on theoretical and practical grounds, updates research achievements in pedagogy, psychology, and methods of teaching literature; achievements in literature and linguistics research; achievements in Vietnamese literature across different periods; experiences in constructing Vietnamese literature curricula, especially since the early 21st century, and international trends in program development, especially the programs of developed countries; social, educational, economic conditions, and Vietnamese cultural traditions, particularly the diversity of students in terms of regions, conditions, and learning abilities.

- The Literature curriculum emphasizes training communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) as the main axis throughout all three levels to meet the program's competency-oriented requirements and ensure a cohesive, continuous consistency across all grades and classes. Basic, foundational knowledge about Vietnamese language and literature is formed through activities of reception and text creation; directly serving the requirement to train reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

- The Literature curriculum is developed in an open direction, expressed in that it does not detail the teaching content but only specifies the required achievements in reading, writing, speaking, and listening for each class; establishes some basic, core knowledge about Vietnamese, literature, and some texts with important national literary significance, which is a mandatory content for students nationwide.

- The Literature curriculum simultaneously meets the renewal requirement while focusing on inheriting and promoting the advantages of existing literature programs, especially the current program.
