What is the event through which Thai Binh Province was officially established?
Thai Binh Province was officially established in 1890 when the Governor-General of Indochina issued a Decree to establish Thai Binh Province.
Upon its official establishment, Thai Binh Province comprised the districts of: Thanh Quan, Thuy Anh, Dong Quan, Truc Dinh (formerly Chan Dinh), Thu Tri, Vu Tien, Tien Hai, Phu Duc, Quynh Coi (part of Nam Dinh Province), and Than Khe (part of Hung Yen Province). In the 6th year of Thanh Thai (1894), two additional districts, Hung Nhan and Duyen Ha (part of Hung Yen Province), were annexed back to Thai Binh.
Thai Binh Province has been officially established for 135 years as of now (2025). Today, Thai Binh is a province with a robustly developing economy, especially in agriculture and industry. Additionally, this land is also famous for its unique cultural heritage, attracting tourists both domestically and internationally.

What are the orientations to the teaching method for 12th-grade Geography in Vietnam?
Under Section 6 of the General Education Program for Geography issued with Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDDT, the orientations to the teaching method for Geography in Vietnam are:
- Energizing students' activities; where the teacher organizes, guides, encourages, and creates a friendly learning environment for students; students learn proactively, actively, creatively, focusing on self-learning skills.
- Enhancing experiential activities for students, linking geography lessons with local, national, and global realities; applying knowledge to solve environmental, economic, and social issues locally, thereby developing awareness, skills, distinctive qualities, and general capabilities.
- Diversifying teaching methods, flexibly combining advanced teaching methods, specific teaching methods for the subject such as: using maps, diagrams, statistics, charts, pictures, models, observations, fieldwork, etc; improving and utilizing traditional teaching methods such as lectures, Q&A, etc
- Implementing diverse and flexible forms of teaching, combining individual learning, group learning, and class learning; in-class teaching, outdoor teaching, practical, fieldwork teaching; local tours, surveys, information collection, display, introduction, exhibitions, educational games, etc
- Organizing, guiding, and providing conditions for students to explore, discover, exploit, and capture knowledge from geographical teaching aids such as maps, atlases, pictures, models, observational, and measuring instruments, materials, documentation, etc
Encouraging and facilitating students to leverage information from the Internet to support learning; training students in skills to process, and present geographical information using information and communication technology, etc
- Increasing the self-production of teaching aids with the application of information and communication technology (creating learning websites, building a system of lessons, exercises, practices, and tests using common and suitable software, constructing video clips introducing geographical phenomena, etc).
Will 12th-grade Geography in Vietnam be assessed based on both feedback and scores?
Clause 3, Article 5 of Circular 22/2021/TT-BGDDT stipulates as follows:

3. Assessment methods for subjects
a) Conduct assessment for: Physical education (PE), Art, Music, Fine Arts, local education subjects, experience learning activities, and career counseling; learning results of subjects shall be categorized as “Đạt” (Qualified) or “Chưa đạt” (Unqualified).
b) Conduct assessment based on both feedback and scores for subjects in formal education program, except for those under Point a of this Clause; subject-based learning results shall be given in a total of 10 scores, any other form of scores must be converted to 10-score model. Assessment score must be an integer or a decimal number rounded to the nearest tenths.
Subjects assessed by feedback include Physical education (PE), Art, Music, Fine Arts, local education subjects, experience learning activities, and career counseling. The remaining subjects are assessed based on both feedback and scores.
Thus, 12th-grade Geography in Vietnam will be assessed based on both feedback and scores.
