You use vocabulary accurately and understand how to use basic grammatical structures in sentences. When communicating, you know how to choose suitable words to express your ideas clearly. This helps you become more confident in using English in different situations. Sample 2: Feedback on students needing to improve certain skills in English Grammar and vocabulary knowledge: You have learned many basic English vocabulary and grammar. However, you still need to review some grammatical structures to use them correctly in communication. Occasionally, you should pay more attention to word arrangement and correct tense usage in sentences. Sample 3: Feedback on students showing progress in learning English but needing more effort Grammar and vocabulary knowledge: You have learned a lot of new vocabulary and understand the basic grammar rules in English. What are the requirements regarding assessment for English according to Circular 27 in Vietnam?
Under Article 4 of the Regulations on assessment of primary school students issued in conjunction with Circular 27/2020/TT-BGDDT, the requirements regarding assessment for English are:
- Assess students via level of satisfaction of requirements and specific display of capacities in subjects, academic activities, traits and capabilities of students required by formal primary education program.
- Conduct regular assessment by feedback, periodic assessment in form of scores in combination with comments; combine assessment of teachers, students, students' parents in which teachers’ assessment holds the highest priority.
- Assess progression and do so for the progression of students; emphasize encouragement and motivation of efforts in studying and training of students; assist students in making the best of their capabilities and efforts; guarantee timeliness, fairness and transparency; refrain from comparing one student to another, refrain from pressuring students, teachers or students' parents.

According to Clause 2, Article 10 of the Regulations on assessment of primary school students issued in conjunction with Circular 27/2020/TT-BGDDT on assessment documents for English:
