The latest recruitment quotas for teachers in Ho Chi Minh City 2024 is 2 quotas, in which: 1 Mathematics Pedagogy teacher, 1 Computer Science Pedagogy teacher.

Standards for Teacher Recruitment Application in Ho Chi Minh City 2024 in Vietnam

Candidates applying for teacher recruitment in Ho Chi Minh City 2024 must meet the criteria as specified in Article 2 of Decree 140/2017/ND-CP. To be specific:

University graduates with excellent degrees from domestic or foreign universities recognized for degree and certificate equivalence in accordance with the law, with excellent academic and training results during their university years, within the age limit at the time of application submission, and fulfilling one of the following criteria:

(1) Received at least third prize in individual capacity in one of the examinations for selecting excellent students at the provincial level, received at least encouragement prize in national level examinations, or received at least a commendation in international competitions in one of the natural science subjects (mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, computer science) or social science subjects (literature, history, geography, foreign languages) during high school;

(2) Received at least third prize in individual capacity in national or international science - engineering competitions during high school or university;

(3) Received at least third prize in individual capacity in Olympiad competitions in one of the subjects of mathematics, physics, chemistry, mechanics, computer science, or other specialized fields during university, recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Current Procedures for Recruiting Graduates of Excellence Teachers in Vietnam

According to Article 9 of Decree 140/2017/ND-CP, the current procedures for recruiting excellently graduated teachers are as follows:

Step 1. Agencies, organizations, and units with recruiting authority publicly announce at least 3 consecutive times in three mass media channels including printed newspapers, radio, and television of the central or local levels; at the same time, post on the electronic information page of the agency, organization, unit about registration conditions, required positions, content of the application, application deadline, the venue for submitting the registration application, recruitment dossier, phone numbers, and email addresses of the organization or individual receiving the application.

The procedures for recruiting excellently graduated students and young scientific staff into the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Public Security are implemented according to the regulations of the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Public Security.

Step 2. Participants in the recruitment submit 01 registration form according to the issued template with this Decree to the recruiting agency, organization, or unit no later than 30 days from the date of recruitment announcement.

Step 3. Within 08 days from the end date of receiving the registration form, the agency, organization, or unit is responsible for notifying the results of the dossier review to the applicants.

Within 07 days from the date of notification of the dossier review results, the agency, organization, or unit is responsible for organizing the recruitment according to the regulations.

Agencies, organizations, and units establish a Recruitment Council and determine the successful candidates according to the current laws on recruiting officials and public employees.

After the recruitment result announcement, successful candidates are responsible for submitting their dossiers to the recruiting agency, organization, or unit to cross-check the documents.

Step 4. Recruitment Decision:

- Within 05 working days from the date the recruitment result is approved by the competent authority, the recruiting agency, organization, or unit is responsible for issuing the recruitment decision for the candidate who meets the highest requirements of the job position and informing the applicant in writing; and sending the list to the Ministry of Home Affairs for general monitoring (except for cases involving state secrets);

- Within 30 days from the date of the recruitment decision, the recruited candidate must report to the agency, organization, or unit for receiving the job, except where the recruitment decision specifies a different period.

In case the recruited candidate has a justifiable reason for not being able to report to the job, they must make a written request for an extension before the end of the mentioned period to the competent recruiting agency, organization, or unit.

The extended time is not more than 30 days from the end of the job receiving period; for candidates studying, living, or working abroad, the extension is not more than 45 days.
