How many staff are there in lower secondary school libraries in Vietnam?
Based on Article 13 Circular 20/2023/TT-BGDDT, which stipulates the number of staff for common specialized job positions as follows:
Standards for the number of staff for common specialized job positions
1. Library and office administration positions:
a) Lower secondary schools with 28 classes or more in region 3, with 19 classes or more in region 1 and region 2; ethnic minority boarding lower secondary schools are allocated up to 02 people;
b) Lower secondary schools with 27 classes or fewer in region 3, with 18 classes or fewer in region 1 and region 2 are allocated 01 person;
c) Ethnic minority semi-boarding lower secondary schools, based on the number of classes, actual conditions apply standards according to the regulations for lower secondary schools at point a, point b of clause 1 of this Article;
d) Schools for the disabled at the lower secondary level are allocated 01 person.
2. Office, cashier, accountant positions:
a) Lower secondary schools and ethnic minority semi-boarding lower secondary schools are allocated up to 02 people;
b) Ethnic minority boarding schools, schools for the disabled at the lower secondary level, lower secondary schools with 40 classes or more, ethnic minority semi-boarding lower secondary schools with over 200 students receiving semi-boarding student policies are allocated up to 03 people;
3. For job positions where it is not possible to allocate staff, labor contracts or concurrent positions are arranged. Lower secondary schools, based on the nature, workload and actual conditions, determine the job positions, the number of staff for each position and concurrent tasks accordingly.
According to the above regulations, the number of staff in common specialized job positions in lower secondary school libraries is as follows:
- For lower secondary schools with 28 classes or more in region 3, with 19 classes or more in region 1 and region 2;
- For ethnic minority boarding lower secondary schools, up to 02 people can be allocated;
- For lower secondary schools with 27 classes or fewer in region 3, 18 classes or fewer in region 1 and region 2, 01 person can be allocated;
- For ethnic minority semi-boarding lower secondary schools, based on the number of classes, actual conditions apply standards according to the regulations for lower secondary schools at point a, point b of clause 1 Article 13 Circular 20/2023/TT-BGDDT.
- Schools for the disabled at the lower secondary level are allocated 01 person.
Thus, the number of staff in common specialized job positions in lower secondary school libraries will range from 1 to 2 people depending on the number of classes in that lower secondary school.
What are the regulations on support service job positions in lower secondary schools in Vietnam?
Based on Article 19 Circular 20/2023/TT-BGDDT, which stipulates support service job positions as follows:
Support service job positions
1. Based on the law, the scale of students, the nature, workload and actual conditions, upper secondary schools determine the number of labor contracts for each support service job position.
2. The signing of labor contracts is implemented according to current legal regulations.
Thus, according to the above provisions, support service job positions in lower secondary schools will be based on the law, the scale of students, the nature, workload and actual conditions, and each school determines the necessary number.
