Hanoi Department of Education and Training provides guidelines on political education tasks and student affairs for the 2024-2025 school year
On September 13, 2024, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training issued Official Dispatch 3124/SGDDT-CTTT-KHCN in 2024, guiding the tasks of political education and student affairs for the 2024-2025 school year.
In this document, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training outlines general tasks in political education and student affairs for the 2024-2025 school year as follows:
- Thoroughly understand and effectively implement directives, resolutions, conclusions of the Vietnam Communist Party, legal documents, schemes, projects, plans, and other documents from the Ministry of Education and Training, the City People's Committee, and other competent state agencies regarding the tasks of political education and student affairs.
- Reform and improve the quality of political, ideological, ethical, lifestyle, and life skills education by building and promoting the cultural value system of Hanoi citizens and Vietnamese people.
- Strengthen school counseling and career orientation counseling; enhance the coordination among families, schools, and society in educating students, and implement support policies for disadvantaged students.
- Organize activities to propagate, educate, and raise students' awareness of legal knowledge, guidelines, policies of the Vietnam Communist Party, State, Government of Vietnam, Ministry of Education and Training, and the City People's Committee regarding educational innovation; skills in traffic safety (ATGT), fire protection, and rescue operations.
- Increase the application of information technology and digital transformation in management; proactively and promptly handle communication issues related to political education and student affairs.
- Continue implementing emulation movements and campaigns, especially promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, ethics, and style, meeting the requirements of revolutionary tasks in a new phase.
- Enhance the efficiency of organizational structures; improve capacity and support for those in charge of political education and student affairs, homeroom teachers, teachers in charge of Youth Union and Team work, teachers handling psychological counseling, social work, entrepreneurship support, etc., to participate in capacity-building training according to the prescribed program or regular training organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the City People's Committee, and local authorities.
- Summarize and evaluate schemes, projects, and programs on tasks for the 2021-2025 period; continue to propose and advise on implementation directions as directed by the Ministry of Education and Training and the City People's Committee for the next phase.
