+ Friendship: The essay reflects the beautiful and close friendship among class students.

+ Creativity: Loan showed creativity by coming up with the idea of collecting voices.

+ The significance of memories: Collecting personally meaningful items helps students preserve beautiful memories.

+ The value of emotions: Each student's voice contains sincere and warm feelings.

Part 2. Literary Devices Used:

- Simile: "Cả lớp học như một cửa hiệu tạp hóa vui nhộn" (comparing the class to a grocery store, helping to imagine the vibrant, bustling atmosphere of the exhibition).

- Personification: Giọng Phượng mềm mại như phát thanh viên" (personifying Phuong's voice, making it more lively and attractive).

What are the objectives when teaching the grade 5 Vietnamese Language course?

Based on Section III Appendix Curriculum of the Literature Course issued with Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDDT, the grade 5 literature curriculum is built as follows:

Objective [1] To help students form and develop key characteristics with specific expressions: love for nature, family, and homeland; awareness of roots; an affinity for beauty and goodness, and healthy emotions; interest in studying and working; honesty, straightforwardness in study and life; awareness of fulfilling responsibilities toward oneself, family, society, and the environment.

Objective [2] To help students initially form general capabilities, develop language skills in all key areas of reading, writing, speaking, and listening at a basic level: read texts correctly and fluently; understand the main content and information of texts; relate and compare outside the text; write with correct spelling and grammar; write some sentences, paragraphs, short essays (mainly narrative and descriptive essays); speak clearly; listen and understand speakers' opinions.

Develop literary capabilities with requirements to distinguish between poems and stories, know how to read poems and stories; recognize the beauty of artistic language; have imagination, understand, and be moved by the beauty and goodness of humans and the surrounding world as expressed in literary texts.

What are regulations on assessment of students' literary capabilities when studying the grade 5 Vietnamese Language course?

Based on Section IV Appendix Curriculum of the Literature Course issued with Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDDT, assessing literary capabilities when studying the grade 5 Vietnamese Language course requires students to achieve the following:

- Distinguish between narrative and poetic texts (prose and verse paragraphs); identify the text's content and the writer's attitude and feelings; initially understand the effects of some formal elements of literary texts (language, characters, plot, rhyme, simile, personification). Know how to relate, imagine and express literary qualities in writing and speaking.

- For 3rd, 4th, and grade 5 students: know how to recite literary texts expressively; retell and summarize the main content of a story or poem; comment on characters, events, and the writer's attitude and feelings in the text; identify the time and place, some types of rhyme, rhythm, beautiful and unique words and images, and the effects of personification and simile literary devices.

Understand the meaning or lesson gleaned from the text. Write paragraphs and essays narrating stories or describing emotions and the ability to imagine and relate.
