Understanding how to capitalize proper nouns in certain special cases to show respect. Knowing how to write the correct names of people and places in foreign languages.

Writing Process
- Knowing how to write according to steps: determining the writing purpose and content (why writing, about what); observing and gathering materials for writing; forming main ideas and outlining; writing paragraphs and essays; editing (layout, word choice, sentence structure, spelling).
- Being able to write paragraphs and documents that clearly and coherently express the main topic and information; fit the genre requirements; include an introduction, development, conclusion; with coherent sentences and paragraphs.
Writing Practice
- Writing a story retelling based on what has been read or heard, including creative details.
- Writing a description of a person or landscapes using similes, personification, and evocative words to highlight the described object's features.
- Writing paragraphs expressing personal feelings about an event or a poem, story.
- Writing a paragraph explaining why one agrees or disagrees with a significant phenomenon or event in life.
- Writing a paragraph introducing a character from a book or animated film (appearance, gestures, actions, language).
- Writing job reports, activity programs, using charts and tables.
Thus, it is evident that outlining and practicing writing scenic description essays are part of the Grade 5 Vietnamese curriculum. Grade 5 students are expected to achieve these skills after completing their studies.
What are 4 methods of assessment of primary school students in the 2024-2025 school year in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Article 9 of the Regulations on Assessing Primary School Students issued with Circular 27/2020/TT-BGDĐT, there are 4 levels of assessment for primary school students in the 2024-2025 school year as follows:
- Excellent: Students with assessment results of subjects and educational activities reaching "Good"; qualities and competencies reaching "Good"; end-of-year assessments scoring 9 or higher;
- Good: Students who do not meet the criteria for Excellent but have assessment results of subjects and educational activities reaching "Good"; qualities and competencies reaching "Good"; end-of-year assessments scoring 7 or higher;
- Satisfactory: Students who do not meet the criteria for Excellent or Good, but have assessment results of subjects and educational activities reaching "Good" or "Satisfactory"; qualities and competencies reaching "Good" or "Satisfactory"; end-of-year assessments scoring 5 or higher;
- Not completed: Students who do not fall into the above categories.
