How to participate in the English Olympic contest on the internet in Vietnam?
Pursuant to Decision 5572/QD-BGDDT in 2014 Download, the guidelines for participating in the English Olympic contest on the internet are as follows:
Step 1: Registering as a Member
Students interested in participating in the competition should visit the website www.ioe.vn and follow the specific registration instructions.
During registration, students need to provide accurate information, including full name, class information, address, school name, district, and province/city.
Additionally, students may register to participate in the Olympics at higher levels within their educational tier.
Step 2: Logging in and Participating
After completing the member registration, students use their registered username and password to log into the website.
On the user interface, students can select "Enter Exam" to participate in practice rounds or "Official Exam" to take part in official Olympic rounds at various levels.
- Important Note: The student's username must adhere to the regulations of the website www.ioe.vn and must not violate the naming rules.
The displayed full name on the website must be accurate according to the birth certificate, and the profile picture must comply with regulations to be confirmed as an official member of the English Olympic contest on the internet.

What are the awards for the different levels of the English Olympic contest on the internet?
The award for the English Olympic contest on the internet at various levels is stipulated in Decision 5572/QD-BGDDT in 2014 as follows:
- awards for the local levels of the competition are specified by the organizing unit at each level and are awarded to individuals with high achievements to encourage self-study and self-assessment among students. Team awards are not awarded and the awards are not used as a criterion for annual evaluations for students, teachers, schools, districts, or provinces/cities.
- awards for the national level are awarded as follows:

+ 27 Silver awards: Medal + Certificate;
+ 54 Bronze awards: Medal + Certificate;
+ 108 Encouragement awards: Certificate.
Category B
+ 54 Gold awards: Medal + Certificate;
+ 108 Silver awards: Medal + Certificate;
+ 216 Bronze awards: Medal + Certificate;
+ 432 Encouragement awards: Certificate.
Category C
+ 27 Gold awards: Medal + Certificate;
+ 54 Silver awards: Medal + Certificate;

What are regulations on the age of students of different levels in Vietnam?
According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 28 of the Education Law 2019:
Educational Levels and Ages in General Education
1. The educational levels and corresponding ages in general education are defined as follows:
a) Primary education is conducted over 05 academic years, from grade one to the end of grade five. The age of students entering grade one is 06 years, calculated by year;
b) Lower secondary education is conducted over 04 academic years, from grade six to the end of grade nine. Students entering grade six must have completed the primary education program. The age of students entering grade six is 11 years, calculated by year;
c) Upper secondary education is conducted over 03 academic years, from grade ten to the end of grade twelve. Students entering grade ten must have a lower secondary education diploma. The age of students entering grade ten is 15 years, calculated by year.
2. Students are allowed to advance to a higher class or study at an age older than the specified age mentioned in Clause 1 of this Article in the following cases:
a) Students with advanced intellectual development may advance to a higher class;
b) Students may study at an older age in cases where they repeat a grade, are in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, belong to ethnic minorities, have disabilities, are physically or mentally less developed, are orphans without care, are from poor households, return from abroad, and other cases as prescribed by law.
