What is the number of lessons for Music according to the General Education Program 2018 in Vietnam?
According to the General Education Program for the Music subject issued together with Circular 32/2018/TT-BG/DDT as follows:
(1) Basic Education Stage
From grades 1 to 9, the number of lessons for Music is 35 per school year.
Time (in percentage) allocated for contents:

Music Appreciation, Music Reading, Music Theory, Music Knowledge | 35% | 40% |
Duration for periodic assessment: 10%
(2) Career-Oriented Education Stage
From grades 10 to 12, the number of lessons for Music is 70 per school year. Students choose one of the following two options:

Besides core educational content, students will be oriented towards the cultural-artistic industry and can choose specialized study topics with 35 lessons per school year.

What are the achievement levels of the required outcomes for Music in Vietnam?
Under sub-section 1 section 8 of the General Education Program for the Music subject issued together with Circular 32/2018/TT-BG/DDT, certain verbs are used to express the achievement levels of the required outcomes of students.
Some verbs are used at different levels, but in each case express a specific action with respective subjects and requirements.
During the teaching process, especially when posing discussion questions, and designing assessment tasks, teachers can use the verbs mentioned below or replace them with equivalent verbs suitable to the pedagogical situation and specific tasks assigned to students.
