Under the regulations in the General Education Program issued with Circular 32/2018/TT-BGDDT, outcomes required for 05 essential qualities of lower secondary school students in Vietnam according to the 2018 General Education Program are as follows:
(1) Patriotism
- Actively participate in activities to protect nature.
- Be conscious of understanding family, clan, and hometown traditions; actively study and train to promote family, clan, and hometown traditions.
- Be conscious of protecting cultural heritage, actively participate in activities to protect and promote the value of cultural heritage.
(2) Compassion
Value everyone
- Respect the honor, health, and private life of others.
- Do not agree with evil or wrongdoings; do not promote or participate in violent acts; ready to defend the vulnerable, disadvantaged,...
- Actively, proactively participate in charitable activities and community service activities.
Respect differences among people
- Respect differences in perception and personal style of others.
- Respect cultural diversity of ethnic groups within the Vietnamese community and other ethnicities.
- Empathize and be ready to help everyone.
(3) Diligence
