To implement teacher training according to professional title standards, the Minister of Education and Training has issued the following documents:

Decision 2775/QD-BGDDT in 2023 on Training Program according to professional title standards for public service educators.

Decision 2003/QD-BGDDT in 2023 on Training Program according to professional title standards for upper secondary school teachers.

Decision 2002/QD-BGDDT in 2023 on Training Program according to professional title standards for lower secondary school teachers.

Decision 2001/QD-BGDDT in 2023 on Training Program according to professional title standards for primary school teachers.

Decision 2000/QD-BGDDT in 2023 on Training Program according to professional title standards for preschool teachers.

Decision 1078/QD-BGDDT in 2022 on Training Program according to professional title standards for pedagogical college lecturers.

Decision 1079/QD-BGDDT in 2022 on Training Program according to professional title standards for university lecturers.

Decision 4853/QD-BGDDT in 2018 on Training Program according to professional title standards for rank 1 pre-university teachers.

What are the training objectives for upper secondary school teachers in Vietnam according to the professional title standards?

According to Section 2 of the Training Program on Professional Title Standards for upper secondary school Teachers issued under Decision 2003/QD-BGDDT in 2023, the training objectives for upper secondary school teachers are as follows:

- General Objectives:

Equip learners with knowledge, skills in specialized fields, professional methods, and foster a positive attitude in their professional activities to meet the professional title standards for upper secondary school teachers.

- Specific Objectives: After completing the training course, learners should be able to:

+ Understand accurately and comprehensively the policies, regulations, and requirements of the Communist Party and State as well as the sector and local regulations regarding upper secondary school education, and implement these in their assigned tasks.

+ Analyze the basic contents of state management regarding general education.

+ Analyze current global trends in the development of general education and perspectives on educational innovation within the upper secondary school context.

+ Identify the roles, responsibilities, and importance of professional development in improving education quality, and proactively develop professionally to meet the innovation requirements of upper secondary school education programs.

+ Perform tasks in accordance with the professional title standards for upper secondary school teachers as regulated by the Ministry of Education and Training.

Additionally, according to Section 1 of the Training Program on Professional Title Standards for upper secondary school Teachers issued under Decision 2003/QD-BGDDT in 2023, the training purposes for upper secondary school teachers are as follows:

- Evaluate the knowledge and skills acquired by learners from the Training Program according to professional title standards for upper secondary school teachers over a period of 3 weeks.

- Assess the ability to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in the practical work of upper secondary school teacher professional titles.

What are requirements for institutions conducting upper secondary school teacher in Vietnam training according to professional title standards?

According to sub-section 2 of Section 5 of the Training Program on Professional Title Standards for upper secondary school Teachers issued under Decision 2003/QD-BGDDT in 2023, institutions conducting upper secondary school teacher training according to professional title standards need to meet the following requirements:

- Institutions are allowed to conduct training when they meet the following conditions:

+ Licensed to provide education at the university level or higher, and recognized as meeting the quality standards specified by the Ministry of Education and Training.

+ At least 70% of the lecturers participating in teaching the training modules are full-time faculty members.

+ Have classrooms and equipment that meet the teaching and learning requirements.

+ Have teaching and learning materials that meet the course requirements.

- Requirements for training institutions:

+ Support services for the course are promptly provided, ensuring quality.

+ Personnel involved in organizing the training have an appropriate spirit, attitude, and responsibility.

+ Teaching and learning regulations comply with the law, are promptly and fully communicated to lecturers and learners.

+ Choose appropriate training methods and evaluation activities to ensure objectivity, accuracy, compliance and achieve training objectives.

+ Collect feedback on the training course as per regulations.
