What are the duties of key preschool teachers in Vietnam?

Under Clause 3, Article 12 of the Regulations issued with Circular 26/2018/TT-BGDDT, the duties of key preschool teachers in Vietnam are:

- Support and consult colleagues in preschool educational institutions or preschools in the area on issues related to ensuring and improving the quality of care and education for preschool children;

- Compile specialized training materials, and guidance (for teachers, parents, and guardians of children); organize training guidance for students in practice, and connect with faculty members in preschool education departments to exchange knowledge on nurturing, caring, and educating children;

- Guide and support colleagues in school or schools in the area on activities to build and implement the school's educational plans, nutrition, and health care plans, and educational activities for children in groups or classes;

- On implementing online teacher training courses; training, participating in workshops to enhance professional capacity for teachers in school or other schools in the area; participating in training, training teachers according to the annual requirements of the sector (department, district, Ministry);

- Advise and consult direct management levels on school education planning suitable to the specific conditions of school, class, and local socio-economic situations to ensure the goals and quality of child care and education, and enhance the professional ability of the teaching staff;

- Participate in organizing, and reporting professional knowledge at specialized conferences, and professional activities of preschool educational institutions or preschools in the area.
