"THE FIRST STEP IN OPENING WORDS"

This topic has received many comments:

Dare to be Hated

- In this school year, the image of progress that others expect from me is: (Images of black and white circles symbolizing change).

- But for me, this is also progress: (Image different from the initial arrangement).

- Or this is also progress: (Another form of arrangement).

Sweet New Year

"The first step in opening words"? Welcome to read the story of Dr. Robin Wall Kimmerer: When asked why she chose to study botany, a student answered:

"I want to know why sunflowers and asters look so beautiful standing next to each other."

The advisor said:

"That's not what botanists are interested in. If you want to study beauty, you should go to art school."

The student did not argue and accepted to choose botany because she truly loved nature. After becoming a Ph.D. in biology, she returned to her starting point - the question of beauty - and discovered that everyone has a type of cell that expresses sensitivity to the combination of purple and yellow. This provides a scientific explanation for the beauty of the color combination between sunflowers and asters. It turns out the advisor was wrong in giving the stereotypical view that beauty is just a matter of subjective emotion, hence the question of beauty cannot be a suitable scientific question.

AI - Friend or Foe?

The emergence of poems, paintings... created by AI (artificial intelligence) makes many artists worried about the risk that AI will replace human creativity. During a discussion, I came across a response from ChatGPT:

"AI's capabilities in the field of creativity, including poetry, can indeed bring endless innovative achievements. However, instead of just a warning, AI can be seen as a motivation for artists to renew themselves, seeking creative methods that humankind alone can realize."

The presence of AI does not eliminate the value of artistic creation but helps us to more clearly recognize the real beauty and meaning of creativity.

Intense and Gentle

AI's response made me suddenly remember the creative explanation of the origin of the word "love" in the opening stanza of The Origin of Words by Xuan Quynh:

The word "love" he speaks to me

The long echo of nights at the theater

Words of old spoken to each other

In the quan ho song "through the windy bridge..."

"Do you remember anyone..."

Perhaps easy for anyone to forget the day

Mount Thien Thai a white blade

The Cau River flows gently, waiting

Four-piece dress and pigtailed hair

The word "love" grandpa spoke to grandma in old days.
