Although it has been nearly three days since I won the gold medal in swimming, I still feel delighted! This is an achievement that I had to work very hard to obtain! Looking at the gold medal hanging on the wall, my heart is filled with emotions and excitement. People have recognized my natural talent for swimming since I was young. Every time I swim, I leave my friends in awe with my impressive swimming strokes. As soon as the "Hội khỏe Phù Đổng" competition at the District level was announced, I quickly registered with my teacher. Since that day, I have spent 30 minutes to an hour after each school day practicing. I can perform all swimming styles, from freestyle, butterfly, backstroke, to breaststroke. No swimming style is challenging for me. On the examination day, I arrived early to prepare everything. I was very nervous, eagerly waiting for my turn. I stood in the third lane from the left. As soon as the competition whistle blew, I jumped into the pool and began showcasing my skills. In the first round, I finished second. Continuing to the second round, my ranking dropped by one place. At that moment, I was very worried about the final outcome. Only one more round to go, and everything will be decided. This was also the round with the most points. Therefore, I quickly regained my spirits and determination to win. As I jumped into the pool, I used all my strength to reach the finish line. My body felt like a fish swimming through the river. Just as my hand touched the finish, the whistle sounded. Looking up at the scoreboard, I realized I had come in first. I was so moved and happy that I couldn't hold back the tears streaming down my cheeks. The moment I stepped onto the podium to receive the medal, flowers, and prize, I felt incredibly proud of myself. That award is very important because it gives me the strength to pursue my dreams. |
Sample No. 2:
At the beginning of this year, I registered to join the school's book reading club. After three months of learning, I participated in the club's favorite book debating session and won second prize. It was the most memorable high achievement I've ever had. Before that, I was quite shy and introverted. Therefore, deciding to join the club was a bold decision for me. I never thought I would actively register for a debating competition in front of so many people. Yet, with the support of friends and my parents, I truly registered for the competition. Before the competition day, I practiced a lot in front of the mirror every day. I had memorized the speech content so well that I could speak without thinking. But when entering the exam room and standing before the council and audience, it was as if I forgot everything. My heart rate soared, feeling like I couldn't speak coherently. However, with the enthusiastic cheers from friends in the audience and the trusting eyes of the teachers, I truly managed to do it. My speech was met with rounds of applause. The moment I stepped up to receive the second prize, I still couldn't believe I did so wonderfully. It wasn't until my friends embraced me that I truly believed in what I had just accomplished. That happiness was indescribable. The award that day was not just for the speech. It was also a reward for daring to step out of my comfort zone, daring to express myself. That award turned into a key to open the door to a wonderful future ahead of me. |
Sample No. 3:
In each person's life, there are memorable moments and achievements to be proud of. For me, it was the first time I won first prize in the city math competition. I was quite a good student in math, but I was not very confident. I often worried I wouldn't perform well in exams, so I usually studied very thoroughly. For the city math competition in seventh grade, I spent a significant amount of time studying and revising. I tried my best to achieve the best results possible. When the exam results were announced, I was extremely surprised to learn that I had won first prize. I couldn't believe I had accomplished that. I was overwhelmed with joy and happiness. I felt very proud of myself because I had overcome my fears and achieved a high accomplishment in the contest. I vividly remember the day when the school recognized me in front of the entire school. Standing on the stage, receiving congratulations from teachers and friends, I felt so emotional. I knew this was the result of my efforts and hard work, as well as the encouragement and support from teachers, family, and friends. From that day on, I became even more passionate about math. I am determined to study hard to achieve more high accomplishments in the future. The first time I won first prize in the math competition was a memorable milestone in my life. It's a joy and pride, and it motivates me to continue striving in both study and life. |
