The Picnic Trip

Recently, my class had a fantastic picnic at an Ecological Tourism area near the city. It was an experience I will never forget because I not only had fun but also learned many beneficial things.

The trip began on a beautiful weekend day. Everyone was excited and prepared from early morning. We boarded the bus, each carrying a backpack with snacks, drinks, and necessary personal items. On the bus, the atmosphere was very joyful; we sang, told stories, and played interesting games together.

Upon arriving, we were divided into groups to participate in outdoor activities such as hiking, mountain climbing, and team games. My group chose to join the "Treasure Hunt" game. We had to find clues and solve puzzles to locate the hidden treasure chest in the forest. Although there were moments when we felt tired and confused, thanks to cooperation and team spirit, we successfully solved all the puzzles and found the treasure.

In the afternoon, we rested by the lake, played under the cool green trees. The relaxing feeling of sitting by the lake, enjoying the fresh air and surrounding scenery, was wonderful. The games, laughter, and stories created a warm and cheerful atmosphere.

When we returned, each of us carried a memorable moment. I learned how to work effectively in a team and felt the bond among classmates. This trip not only helped me relax but also brought valuable lessons about friendship and solidarity.

Surely, this picnic will always be a beautiful memory in my heart!

Experience Helping a Classmate

An experience I will never forget was helping Mai in my class overcome a Math test. Mai is a very diligent student, but Math poses a challenge for her. When taking tests, her scores were not high, making her feel sad and lacking confidence.

One day, during a Math lesson, the teacher assigned a difficult task and asked us to complete it in 30 minutes. Mai looked worried, scratching her head in thought but unable to solve the problems. Seeing this, I gently asked, "Do you need my help?" Mai looked at me with grateful eyes and nodded. I sat down next to her and explained each math problem, from how to solve them to checking the results. Mai listened attentively and tried to follow. It felt great because I knew I was helping her through a tough time. After the lesson, Mai thanked me, saying, "Thanks to you, I understood how to solve the Math problems today."

I felt happy for being able to help a friend. After that, Mai improved in her studies and became more confident in tests. This experience taught me that helping friends is not only a good deed but also strengthens friendships.

Experience in the Exam for Selection of Excellent Students

This year's Exam for Selection of Excellent Students was one of the most memorable experiences for me. Before the exam day, I spent a lot of time reviewing, from morning to night, sometimes only resting briefly to eat and then continuing to study. However, the more I reviewed, the more anxious and pressured I felt, as this year's exam had many difficult questions that I hadn't fully mastered.

The exam day came, and I entered the exam room with a feeling of nervousness, my heart pounding. When I received the exam, some questions were very familiar, but there were new ones that made me a bit confused. Instead of panicking, I calmed myself and tried to tackle each question. Thanks to patience and the knowledge I had reviewed, I completed the exam within the stipulated time.

When the results were announced, I was overjoyed to receive second prize. This achievement was not only the result of those review days but also precious experiences about perseverance and hard work. This experience helped me realize that no matter how difficult, as long as we try our best, the results will not disappoint us.

The First Time Cooking a Dish

One weekend, my mom was busy with work, so I decided to cook a meal for my family. Before then, I had never cooked by myself, but this time, I felt excited and wanted to test my skills. My mother taught me simple dishes like fried rice and sour soup, and I decided to make egg fried rice for my family.

Starting to cook, I found it quite challenging not knowing where to start. I washed the vegetables, sliced the meat, then got the eggs, but when adding rice to the pan, I was afraid it would become dry and burnt. Fortunately, I stayed calm and adjusted the heat appropriately. After a while of stir-frying, my fried rice was finally done. When set on the table, both my mom and dad complimented the dish as tasty and good-looking.

Although it wasn't a perfect dish, I felt very happy for accomplishing something on my own that I had never tried before. This experience taught me responsibility and independence in life. I realized that, in doing anything, as long as we try and don't give up, we will succeed.

Experience Participating in a Volunteer Program

At the end of last year, my school organized a volunteer program to help disadvantaged children in a distant village. This was my first time participating in such a program, and it was an experience that made me feel very emotional and meaningful.

That day, my fellow volunteers and I woke up early, preparing gifts and school supplies for the children. Although we were very tired due to the long journey and hot weather, all of us were very enthusiastic. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the students and villagers. The children had bright eyes, but their lives were very difficult. Many had to study in makeshift classrooms with inadequate facilities.

We organized activities like teaching, playing games, and giving gifts like books and school supplies. The scene of happy children receiving gifts and participating in games together warmed my heart. I felt very happy to be able to help them, even in a small way, but to them, it was a great joy.

Throughout the morning, I learned a lot. The children had nothing but effort and hope. We sang together, laughed together, and shared truly warm moments. I realized that helping others not only brings joy to them but also makes oneself feel happier than ever.

This experience not only taught me about compassion but also helped me understand that my life is truly blessed, and I need to cherish what I have. I will continue to participate in volunteer activities in the future to be able to do more meaningful things.
