In my class, there is a student who is frequently late, so much so that their name appears consistently in our discipline book for being "late." Initially, people were understanding, but over time, everyone became frustrated. This habit has often resulted in our class being rated poorly in competitions and being reprimanded in front of the entire school. Upon investigating, this student often blames missing the bus but fails to wake up earlier or find alternatives like biking.

Everyone has their own reasons to justify being late, but the important thing is that we need to be aware of our responsibilities in a group environment. It is unacceptable for the negligence of one person to affect an entire group. Furthermore, being late is a bad habit, leading to stagnation, dependency, lack of discipline, and can easily make one disorganized. While still in school, teachers might be lenient, but in a working environment, no one will overlook this habit, and it could directly impact your career.

Therefore, each person needs to cultivate punctuality and eliminate the habit of being late not only to help themselves develop better but also to contribute to building a strong, disciplined, and successful team.

Reading Culture

Hello, teacher and friends. In today's discussion, I will present my opinions and perspectives on the issue of "Building a Reading Culture." I invite you all to follow and listen.

Before delving into the issue, I have a small question for everyone: Do you often read books? How many books do you read per month? As you can see, nowadays, the development and explosion of electronic technology devices have brought a lot of excitement to people. We may spend hours scrolling through Tiktok, Facebook but are stingy with our time for reading books. Thus, building a reading culture is a meaningful and necessary issue that serves the human life. Some may argue that developing a reading culture is unnecessary and that reading books does not accumulate as much experience as practical experiences.

From my perspective, building a reading culture is not about chasing numbers, following "trends," or completing tasks. Reading here is for understanding, for accumulating knowledge and experience. Instead of approaching unverified, mixed real and fake information on social networks, you can explore them in books and newspapers. Opening a book can teach you many things that not everyone will teach us.

To further develop and expand the culture of reading, related agencies need to come up with specific programs. Additionally, it is paramount to continuously improve and update book collections. Libraries need to improve infrastructure to meet readers' needs.

Antibiotic Abuse

Antibiotics are a familiar pharmaceutical product, playing a crucial role in treating various diseases. However, the abuse of antibiotics is becoming an alarming issue, as many people believe using antibiotics is the fastest way to get well, regardless of the disease.

Although antibiotics can kill disease-causing bacteria and inhibit their growth, excessive abuse can cause serious side effects like allergies, adverse reactions, and particularly create opportunities for antibiotic-resistant bacteria to develop. Today, the emergence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus and penicillin-resistant pneumococci is threatening human health seriously. Patients who use antibiotics inappropriately, especially those who self-medicate without a doctor's prescription, inadvertently diminish the effectiveness of the drugs and make treatment more difficult.

In reality, many people self-medicate with antibiotics when they have the flu, which is actually caused by viruses, without any examination or advice from doctors. Especially, many parents often give children antibiotics for minor coughs or fevers, even though they could be treated with safer methods like saltwater gargling and herbal cough remedies. Unnecessary antibiotic use not only harms the immune system but also increases the risk of drug resistance in children, making later treatments more challenging.

Antibiotic abuse also impacts the digestive system, destroying both beneficial bacteria and causing microbial imbalance. For the elderly, improper antibiotic use can lead to dangerous complications such as anaphylactic shock, even death if not handled promptly. Meanwhile, children indiscriminately taking antibiotics are at higher risk of asthma and weakened immune systems.

To minimize this situation, each individual must enhance awareness by adhering to the doctor's prescriptions, not self-medicating or sharing antibiotics with others. If prescribed, take the correct dosage, and do not stop mid-course even if symptoms improve. Simultaneously, practice preventive measures like regular hand washing to limit bacterial transmission and reduce the need for antibiotics.

Healthcare staff should also be more responsible in prescribing medication, adhering to professional guidelines, and only using antibiotics when truly necessary. The healthcare industry needs to tighten the management of antibiotic sales, ensuring drugs are only used with a doctor's prescription, and impose strict measures against violations.

In conclusion, antibiotics are not always necessary when sick. Proper medication use, adhering to prescriptions, and correct dosages is the optimal solution to protect personal health and that of the community.

Commendations

1. Principals shall award certificates of achievement for students

a) End-of-year commendation

- Award the title “Học sinh Xuất sắc” (Excellent student) for students who have obtained Excellent training and learning results for the entire school year and achieved DTBmcn of at least 9.0 in subjects that are assessed via both feedback and scores.

- Award the title “Học sinh Giỏi” (Good student) for students who have obtained Excellent training and learning results for the entire school year.

b) Commend students for having unexpected merits in training and learning in the school year.

2. Students with special achievements shall be considered and requested for commendation by schools.

Thus, to achieve the "Good student" title, 10th-grade students must obtain Excellent training and learning results for the entire school year. Learning results are assessed at Excellent if:

- All subjects assessed with feedback are placed in Qualified category.

- All subjects assessed by both feedback and scores have minimum scores of 6.5 for DTBmhk and DTBmcn with 6 subjects among which have minimum scores of 8.0 for DTBmhk and DTBmcn.

- The State shall ensure social equality in education, create a safe educational environment, ensure inclusive education and enable learners to develop their potentials and talents.
