Below are the rules of the For Children's Smiles contest 2025:
The contest aims to enhance communication, dissemination, and education of the law, contributing to raising awareness and compliance with the law on caring for disabled children and children in special circumstances for all citizens.
Disseminate and expand models, exemplary figures in caring, educating, treating, charitable work, material and spiritual support for children in special circumstances and disabled children.
(1) Participants
Vietnamese citizens and foreigners currently residing in Vietnam are eligible to participate.
Members of the Organizing Committee, Content Committee, and Contest Secretariat are not eligible to participate.
(2) Contest Content
Guidelines of the Communist Party, state policies, and laws on the care and treatment of children, disabled children, and children in special circumstances; essential knowledge in laws such as the Children Law, Law on People with Disabilities; United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child; decrees; circulars regarding the care and education of children; exemplary humanitarian activities and individuals in caring, educating children in difficult circumstances...
(3) Contest Format
Weekly multiple-choice quizzes on Health Magazine for Children (suckhoetreem.vn), Legal Protection Newspaper (baovephapluat.vn), Journalists & Public Opinion Newspaper (congluan.vn), VTC News electronic newspaper (vtcnews.vn), and several electronic newspapers and magazines co-organizing the contest.
(4) Contest Duration
The contest is expected to last 16 weeks, with the first week starting from February 24, 2025, to June 24, 2025.
(5) Prizes
Each week, the total prize value is 3,000,000 VND. Specifically:
- 01 First Prize: worth 1,500,000 VND
- 01 Second Prize: worth 1,000,000 VND
- 01 Third Prize: worth 500,000 VND
(6) Results Announcement and Award Presentations
- Weekly contest prize announcement
Prizes are announced immediately after the weekly contest results (no later than 2 PM every Monday) on the Health Magazine for Children electronic magazine and some public media.
- Award presentation
Health Magazine for Children will present an award certificate to individuals who win First, Second, and Third Prizes in the weekly contests.
+ Weekly, Health Magazine for Children will send award certificates to winners by mail; simultaneously, send prize money by mail or via the winner’s personal account.
+ Winners are responsible for providing full and accurate personal information, bank account, phone number, contact address, for the Contest Secretariat to transfer prize money by mail or via personal account.
The Contest Organizing Committee is expected to hold a contest summary; commend collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the contest and the localities, units with the highest number of participants and winners.
(7) Other regulations
- Participants must provide complete, accurate personal information matching identification documents and personal phone numbers on the Contest system for the Organizing Committee to contact, verify, and award prizes. If the Organizing Committee cannot contact the winner via the provided personal phone number on the Contest system or cannot verify the winner, the prize will be forfeited within 7 days after the contest week ends.
- Do not have others take the test on your behalf, use others' information to participate, or illegally access the Contest system; if discovered, the participant's contest results will be nullified.
- Participants can take the test at any time within the hours announced by the Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for connection errors due to network transmission or device errors of the participant.
- During the Contest, if issues arise beyond this Rule, the Organizing Committee will consider making necessary adjustments to fit actual circumstances.
