What is Shopee Rewards?
Shopee Rewards is the customer appreciation program of Shopee. By participating in this program, you will receive many attractive benefits based on the rank achieved, such as Silver Member, Gold Member, and Diamond Member.
These ranks are evaluated based on your spending level and the number of accumulated orders when shopping on Shopee within the last 6 months. From January 18, 2022, all Shopee Food orders from "Partner Restaurants" placed on the Shopee app after successful delivery will also earn points to help consumers accumulate points and upgrade on Shopee Rewards.
To view your Shopee Rewards status and rank, you can easily follow the steps below:
- Step 1: Access the Shopee app, then go to the "Me" section- Step 2: Click on the Member page- Step 3: Here, you can view your rank and the benefits you receive.
Vietnam: What are the ranking criteria for Shopee Rewards 2025?
The ranking in Shopee Rewards will be calculated as follows:
- Member: Automatically applied rank for all users when using Shopee- Silver Rank: Complete at least 3 orders or spend 3,000,000 VND within 6 months- Gold Rank: Complete 20 orders or spend 5,000,000 VND within 6 months- Diamond Rank: Complete 75 orders or spend 15,000,000 VND within 6 months.
However, not all orders on Shopee can be used for rank accumulation. To quickly upgrade your rank, be aware that the following types of orders cannot be used for accumulation:
- Orders for Voucher & Services- Orders topping up keyword Auction Value on Shopee- Orders violating Shopee’s policies- Unsuccessful delivery orders or orders returned with a refund.

Vietnam: When do Shopee delivery men rest for Tet holiday 2025?
According to Notification 6150/TB-BLĐTBXH of 2024 which stipulates the Tet holiday schedule for businesses, the Tet holiday schedule for Shopee delivery men in 2025 will depend on the Tet holiday regulations of the transport units. To be specific:
Businesses may choose:
- 01 day at the end of the year Giap Thin and 04 days at the beginning of the year At Ty.- 02 days at the end of the year Giap Thin and 03 days at the beginning of the year At Ty.- 03 days at the end of the year Giap Thin and 02 days at the beginning of the year At Ty.
Most delivery services will stop for Tet from January 27, 2025 (28th Lunar December) and will resume operations from February 2, 2025 (5th Lunar January). The specific Tet holiday schedule for transportation units is as follows:
| Shopee Shipper Tet Holiday Schedule 2025 - SPX Express: + Pickup/Delivery/Return Schedule: SPX will collect and deliver goods until the 27th of Tet (i.e., January 26, 2025). On January 26, 2025, SPX will operate, but with a limited number of staff, so delivery/pickup time will be slower. + Tet holiday Schedule: Starts from the 28th of Tet (i.e., January 27, 2025) to the end of the 3rd day of Tet (i.e., January 31, 2025). + Resume work schedule: Starting from the 4th day of Tet (i.e., February 1, 2025), the SPX transport unit will begin collecting and delivering goods again. However, on the 4th day of Tet, the number of staff working is limited, so the delivery/pickup time will be slower. - Giao hàng nhanh (GHN): + Pickup/Delivery/Return Schedule: GHN will collect and deliver goods until the 27th of Tet (i.e., January 26, 2025). + Tet holiday Schedule: Starts from the 28th of Tet (i.e., January 27, 2025) to the end of the 3rd day of Tet (i.e., January 31, 2025). + Resume work schedule: Starting from the 4th day of Tet (i.e., February 1, 2025), the GHN transport unit will begin collecting and delivering goods again. - Viettel Post: + Pickup/Delivery/Return Schedule: Viettel Post will collect and deliver goods until the 26th of Tet (i.e., January 25, 2025). On the 26th of Tet, Viettel Post will only deliver and return goods, not collect. + Tet holiday Schedule: Starts from the 27th of Tet (i.e., January 26, 2025) to the end of the 5th day (i.e., February 2, 2025). + Resume work schedule: Starting from the 6th day of Tet (i.e., February 3, 2025), the Viettel Post transport unit will begin collecting and delivering goods as usual. - NINJA VAN: + Pickup/Delivery/Return Schedule: NINJA VAN will collect and deliver goods until the 26th of Tet (i.e., January 25, 2025). + Tet holiday Schedule: Starts from the 27th of Tet (i.e., January 26, 2025) to the end of the 5th day (i.e., February 2, 2025). On the 4th day of Tet (February 1, 2025), NINJA VAN will still carry out normal pickup/delivery/return operations. + Resume work schedule: Starting from the 6th day of Tet (i.e., February 3, 2025), the NINJA VAN transport unit will begin collecting and delivering goods again. - Grab Express, SPX Instant, Be Delivery, AHAMOVE: Operate normally throughout the Lunar New Year 2025 holiday. |
Shall tax exemption be applied for imported goods under 1 million VND sent via express delivery?
According to Article 1 of Decision 78/2010/QD-TTg by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, the tax exemption value for imported goods sent via express delivery is stipulated as follows:
Imported goods sent via express delivery with a value of 1,000,000 VND (one million VND) or less are exempt from import tax and value-added tax.
Imported goods sent via express delivery valued over 1,000,000 VND (one million VND) must pay import tax and value-added tax according to the law.
However, based on Article 1 and Article 2 of Decision 01/2025/QD-TTg which regulates the complete repeal of Decision 78/2010/QD-TTg as follows:
Complete Repeal of Decision
Completely repeal Decision No. 78/2010/QD-TTg dated November 30, 2010 by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam regarding the tax exemption value for imported goods sent via express delivery.
Implementation Provisions
1. This Decision comes into effect from February 18, 2025.
- The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of agencies affiliated with the Government of Vietnam, and Presidents of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, and relevant units shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
Therefore, from February 18, 2025, when Decision 01/2025/QD-TTg takes effect, imported goods under 1 million VND sent via express delivery will officially cease to be exempt from import tax and the input VAT (import stage).
