The monthly unemployment allowance level in Vietnam equals 60% of the average monthly wage of 6 consecutive months before the worker becomes unemployed on which unemployment insurance premiums are based.
On May 04, 2022, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs promulgates the Official Dispatch No. 1399/LDTBXH-VL on receipt and provision of unemployment benefits on the National Public Service Portal of Vietnam.
Unemployment insurance (UI) is a regime where when employees lose their jobs, they will be compensated with part of their income to support vocational training costs, job maintenance, etc. for employees.
