1. What is the Vietnam Neurological Association?

The Vietnam Neurological Association is a professional, voluntary social organization of neuroscientists and neuroscientists; together unite to build Vietnamese medicine step by step to meet the requirements of the industrialization and modernization of the country.

2. Duties and powers of the Vietnam Neurological Association

2.1. Duties of the Vietnam Association of Neurology

- Operate in accordance with the Charter approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

- Harmonize and coordinate activities among members in gathering, encouraging and helping members to jointly preserve and promote the tradition of medical ethics and ethics; friendly solidarity, improve professional qualifications; contribute to the training of medical personnel specialized in neurology; actively contribute to the successful implementation of the goal of protecting, caring for, and improving the health of the people; meet the requirements of industrialization, modernization, national construction, and defense.

- Perform the function of consulting, criticizing, and assessing society on issues related to the functions, tasks, and activities of the Association and the health sector when required in accordance with the law.

- Represent branches, branches, member associations, and members in internal and external relationships related to the functions and tasks of the Association. Protect the members' legitimate rights and interests; mediate disputes within the Association.

- Cooperate and exchange experience with organizations, medical, scientific, and technical associations related to neurology at home and abroad according to the provisions of law.

- Publish books, documents, journals, and internal journals specialized in neurology in accordance with the law to exchange experiences and improve knowledge for members.

2.2. Powers of the Vietnam Neurological Association

- Propagate the purpose of the Association's activities.

- Represent member organizations and members in activities related to the Association's principles, purposes, and missions.

- Give opinions on legal documents related to the activities of the association in accordance with the law.

- Organize seminars, conferences, training courses, and refresher courses to improve the level, professional knowledge and expertise in neurology for members.

- Participate in or chair scientific research projects, providing medical services in the field of neurology to organizations or individuals with needs as prescribed by law.

- Participate and cooperate equally with regional and international specialized organizations in accordance with the law.

- Raise funds for the association on the basis of membership fees and revenues from business and service activities. To receive legal funding sources from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals in accordance with the law

- Be considered for commendation and discipline or propose competent state agencies to reward and discipline member organizations and members in accordance with law.
