1. What is the Party document?

According to Clause 1, Article 1 of Regulation 66-QD/TW in 2017, Party documents are documents presented in written Vietnamese to record the activities of party organizations, promulgated by all levels of Party committees, organizations and competent agencies of the Party (or jointly promulgated) according to the provisions of the Charter of the Party and the Central Government.

2. Types of Party documents in Vietnam

Types of Party documents in Vietnam according to Article 4 of Regulation 66-QD/TW in 2017 include:

- Party Charter:

- Decision:

is a document used to promulgate or annul specific regulations and decisions on undertakings, policies, organizational apparatus, and personnel within the jurisdiction of the Party committees, organizations, and agencies.

Regulation is a document defining the specific principles, standards, procedures, and regimes of a certain field of work of the party committees, organizations, or agencies, or in the system of specialized agencies with the same functions and tasks.

Notification is a document directing, explaining, and guiding the Party committees at all levels, organizations and agencies at lower levels to implement resolutions, decisions, directives, etc. of the Party committees, or perform a specific task.

Planning is a document that defines goals, major options, and solutions for a problem or field that need to be implemented in a relatively long time—many years.

- Program:

A program is a document used to present and arrange all the things that need to be done for a field of work or all aspects of the work of the party committee, organization, or agency (or the leaders of the comrades) in a certain sequence, for a specific time.
