1. What are the regulations on the traditional flag of Vietnam customs?

The traditional flag of Vietnam customs is rectangular, 1.40 m wide and 2.10 m long. The flag's fabric is red, with a yellow five-pointed star in the middle, and in the top left corner, there is a line of yellow capitalized letters "PROTECTING NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY INTERESTS" (arranged in 2 lines: the upper line is "PROTECTING", the lower line is "NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY INTERESTS", the last stroke of the last letter does not exceed the top of the right star ray), below the two lines of letters is the customs symbol.

2. What are the regulations on the ensign of Vietnam customs?

The ensign of Vietnam customs is an isosceles triangle, with sky blue fabric, and the base is 2/3 of the height, with the customs symbol in the middle.

- The ensign on motor vessels with a total power of 2000 HP or more has a base of 0.60 m and a height of 0.90 m.

- The ensign on other customs patrol, control, and surveillance vehicles has a base of 0.30 m and a height of 0.45 m.

3. Customs symbol

The customs symbol is a circle with a sea blue background; inside is a red shield; in the upper part of the shield is a yellow five-pointed star, in the middle is a nested key, an anchor, and a yellow swallow; above is a line of yellow capitalized letters "VIET NAM CUSTOMS"; below is the phrase "VIET NAM CUSTOMS" in English in yellow capitalized letters; next to the outer circle are 02 yellow laurels; the outermost part of the symbol has a red border.

4. Customs badge

The customs badge is a metal ring-shaped item with a height of 60 mm and a width of 54 mm. At the top is the national emblem of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, with a diameter of 28 mm. Below the national emblem are a nested key, an anchor, and a yellow swallow, at the bottom are two capitalized letters "CUSTOMS" in yellow on a red background, and the badge is surrounded by a yellow pine branch.

5. Customs insignia

The customs insignia is a single pine branch made of yellow metal, worn on the collar of the spring-summer, autumn-winter, and ceremonial uniforms. The insignia of the General Department of Vietnam customs leaders additionally has 01 yellow metal star attached to the inner side of the pine branch.

6. Name plate for customs officials and public employees

The name plate for customs officials and public employees is rectangular, 20 mm wide, 70 mm long, and 1.2 mm thick.

- On the left, there is the customs symbol with a diameter of 17 mm.

- On the right, the name and number of the official are printed in white on a sea blue background, in which:

+ The name of the officials and public employees is printed above in capitalized font with letter dimensions: height 05 mm, width 2.8 mm (for cases where there is no middle name) or 02 mm (for cases where there is a middle name).

+ The official's number is printed below in capitalized font with dimensions: height 03 mm, width 02 mm.

7. Customs ID

The customs ID is rectangular, 86 mm long, 54 mm wide, and 0.76 mm thick (+/- 0.05 mm), made of plastic. Both sides of the customs ID are regulated as follows:

- Front side: Red background, yellow border around, with a line of yellow capitalized letters "SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM" at the top. In the middle is the customs symbol, below is the line of yellow capitalized letters "CUSTOMS ID."

- Back side: Light yellow, with a printed pattern, in the center is a white nested key, anchor, and swallow.

+ On the left from top to bottom is the customs symbol, height 15 mm, width 15 mm, photo of the customs official sized 2 cm x 3 cm, white background, wearing a spring-summer customs uniform, without a hat. Below the photo is the customs ID number, which is the official's number.

+ On the right from top to bottom are the capitalized letters "SOCIALIST REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM", followed by "Independence - Freedom - Happiness", "CUSTOMS ID" printed in red, the name, birth year, unit, date of issue; the position of the person issuing the ID signs and seals.
