Vietnam: Procedures for re-issuance certificate of eligibility for providing credit information service (latest)

Decree No. 58/2021/NĐ-CP dated June 10 2021 on provision of credit information service, in which mentions procedures for re-issuance certificate of eligibility for providing credit information service as following:

Step 1: In case that certificate is damaged, credit information companies shall submit application to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV); 

Application for re-issuance of certificate consists of:

1. Application form under Annex X attached to the Decree No. 58/2021/NĐ-CP (1 original)

2. Damaged certificate (unless the certificate is lost) (1 original + 1 copy).

Submission:

Submit directly or by postal service to the Headquarters of the State Bank of Vietnam (49 Ly Thai To, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi City)

Step 2: Within 3 working days from the date on which applications of credit information companies are received, SBV shall request applicants to revise the applications in case of inadequate applications according to provisions of law.

Step 3: Within 10 working days from the date on which adequate applications are received, SBV shall re-issue certificates to credit information companies.

Fees and charges: No

Applicant: Enterprises

Legal basis: Article 12 of the Decree No. 58/2021/NĐ-CP

Note: the Decree No. 58/2021/NĐ-CP takes effect from August 15, 2021.
