Vietnam: Form CT01 - Latest Declaration form for changes in residence information

Declaration form for change of residence information is issued together with Circular 56/2021/TT-BCA regulating the forms in registration and management of residence, which comes into force in Vietnam from July 1, 2021.

Form CT01: Declaration form for changes in residence information

Vietnam: Instructions for filling out the form:

Section (1): Enter the name of the residence registration authority.

Section (2): Clearly and specifically state the request content. Example: permanent residence registration; temporary residence registration; household separation; confirmation of residence information...

Section (3): Applies to the following cases:

- Citizens can register for permanent residence at a legal residence not owned by them if the householder and the legal residence owner agree according to Clause 2, Article 20 of the Residence Law 2020.

- Citizens can register for permanent residence at a legal residence by renting, borrowing, or staying temporarily when the following conditions are met:

+ The legal residence owner agrees to allow permanent residence registration at the rental, borrowed, or temporary stay location, and the householder agrees if the permanent residence is registered in the same household.

+ Ensure the minimum housing area condition as stipulated by the Provincial People's Council, but not less than 08 square meters per person.

- Citizens can register for permanent residence at a religious establishment, worship facility with auxiliary housing, in one of the cases in Clause 4, Article 20 of the Residence Law 2020.

- Individuals such as caregivers, nurturers, or helpers can register for permanent residence at social assistance facilities with the consent of the head of the facility or in a household receiving care, with the consent of the householder and the legal residence owner.

- People living or working on mobile vessels can register for permanent residence on the vessel according to Clause 6, Article 20 of the Residence Law 2020.

- Household members can separate to register for permanent residence at the same legal residence according to Clause 1, Article 25 of the Residence Law 2020.

Section (4): Applies to cases where minors, individuals with limited civil act capacity, or individuals without civil act capacity have changes in residence information.
