- In the case of issuance or renewal of citizen ID cards card received by the police of the city or town: within 1.5 working days from the date of receiving the complete dossier;

- In the case of re-issuance of a citizen ID cards: within 05 working days from the date of receipt of the complete dossier;

Particularly for mountainous, highland, border, and island districts, the processing of dossiers of application for grant, change, and re-issue of citizen ID cards cards is longer, specifically 10 working days from the date of receipt of complete dossiers. profile.

In addition, for the remaining areas, the completion of processing, approval of documents, and electronic data transfer are regulated within 5 working days.

For electronic data transferred by district-level police:

- In case of issuance or renewal: the time limit for implementation is within the day;

- In case of re-issuance: the time limit is 02 working days from the date of receipt of complete electronic data.

- For electronic data transferred by the receiving unit of the request for issuance, renewal, and re-issuance of citizen's identity card by the police of the provinces and municipalities, within 03 working days from the date of receipt. With sufficient electronic data, the Director of the Police Department for administrative management of social order must complete the processing, approval, and complete printing of the citizen identification card;

- For dossiers received by the National Population Data Center, the processing time shall be within 04 working days from the date of receipt of the dossiers;

- Within 02 working days from the date of complete printing of the citizen identification card, the citizen identification card must be delivered to the place where the procedures for issuance, exchange and re-issuance of the citizen identification card are carried out.

- For electronic data transferred by provincial-level police:

+ In case of issuuance or renewal: the time limit for implementation is within 02 working days;

+ In case of re-issuance: the time limit is 02 working days from the date of receipt of complete electronic data.

- For dossiers received by the National citizen ID cards agencies, the processing time shall be within 04 working days from the date of receipt of the dossiers;

- Within 03 working days from the date of complete printing of the citizen identification card, the citizen identification card must be delivered to the place where the procedures for issuance, exchange and re-issuance of the citizen identification card are carried out.
