In Resolution 58/NQ-CP dated June 8, 2021, the Government of Vietnam agreed to apply the allowance regime for volunteers participating in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.

Specifically, the benefit during the time of volunteering to participate in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic for students, students of universities and colleges, students of intermediate training schools in the health sector, people with Unpaid medical professions from the budget are implemented as follows:
- Anti-pandemic allowances
+ The anti-pandemic allowance of VND 300,000/person/day is applicable to:

- Regarding the support for meals and living expenses during the time of having to stay at the volunteer place:
To be entitled to 120,000 VND/person/day, including 80,000 VND for meals and 40,000 VND for living expenses (according to the level specified at Point b, Clause 5, Article 1 of Resolution 16/NQ-CP dated February 8th/ 2021).
- Number of days to enjoy: calculated according to the actual number of days of participating in anti-epidemic as assigned by competent authorities, including holidays, holidays and Tet.
- About the time of application: From January 1, 2021.
- Regarding funding sources: from the central budget reserve.
Previously, in Clause 6, Article 2 of Resolution 16/NQ-CP stipulating the allowance for volunteers participating in the fight against the epidemic during the Covid-19 epidemic as follows: - The rate is 130,000 VND/person/day for collaborators and volunteers directly or jointly participating in anti-pandemic activities. - The rate is 80,000 VND/person/day for collaborators and volunteers directly disseminating and mobilizing the people, distributing leaflets or participating in drills. |
