1. Types of documents serving the National Assembly session under the current regulations in Vietnam

According to Clause 1, Article 7 of the Rules of the National Assembly session issued with Resolution 71/2022/QH15, documents serving the National Assembly session include:

- Official documents include documents belonging to dossiers of law projects, draft resolutions, projects according to the provisions of law, and other submissions and reports belonging to the content of the National Assembly session, decided by the Chairman of the National Assembly at the request of the Secretary General of the National Assembly;

- Reference documents, including publications, thematic articles, reports, and research and translation products, are provided to National Assembly delegates to get more information about the contents of the National Assembly to consider and decide at the meeting, as decided by the Secretary General of the National Assembly.

The Standing Committee of the Nationalities Council, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly coordinate with the Secretary General of the National Assembly to provide reference documents to serve National Assembly delegates at the session.

National Assembly deputies can request the Secretary General of the National Assembly to provide other information and documents related to the content of the National Assembly session.

2. Forms of document circulation for National Assembly sessions in Vietnam

Forms of circulation of documents serving the National Assembly session are specified in Clause 2, Article 7 of the National Assembly session regulations issued with Resolution 71/2022/QH15 as follows:

- Official documents are circulated in the form of electronic documents; in cases of state secrets, they are circulated as paper documents.

For documents circulated in electronic form, in case of necessity, the General Secretary of the National Assembly himself or, at the request of the Standing Committee of the Nationalities Council, the Standing Committees of the National Assembly and Committees of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly report to the Chairman of the National Assembly to decide on the circulation of additional paper documents; in case a National Assembly delegate requests it, the General Secretary of the National Assembly shall organize the provision of additional documents in paper form;

- The form of circulation of reference documents is decided by the General Secretary of the National Assembly.

3. Regulations on information about National Assembly sessions in Vietnam

Regulations on information about National Assembly sessions according to Article 9 of the National Assembly session regulations issued with Resolution 71/2022/QH15 are as follows:

- The General Secretary of the National Assembly is responsible for organizing and providing information about the program and content of the National Assembly session and the activities of the National Assembly at the session according to the provisions of law.

- The General Secretary of the National Assembly holds a press conference about the National Assembly session before the opening session and after the closing session of the National Assembly session. If necessary, the General Secretary of the National Assembly holds a press conference to provide official information about events taking place at the National Assembly session.

- The General Secretary of the National Assembly shall announce the National Assembly's resolution no later than 15 days from the date the resolution is passed, unless otherwise prescribed by law.

- Opening session, closing session of the National Assembly session, discussion session on socio-economic issues, state budget, question session at the National Assembly session, and the Oath Ceremony was broadcast live on the Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam Television, and Vietnam National Assembly Television. Other sessions of the National Assembly are broadcast live by radio and television according to decisions of the National Assembly recorded in the National Assembly session program.

- The General Secretary of the National Assembly decides that documents serving the National Assembly session will be posted on the National Assembly's electronic information portal.

- The main documents of each National Assembly session are posted in the proceedings of the National Assembly session, which are published and distributed electronically by the Office of the National Assembly.

- Representatives of the press and news agencies are given favorable conditions in the reserved area to attend and report on public sessions at the National Assembly session and ensure accurate and objective reporting according to the provisions of the law on the press. The General Secretary of the National Assembly shall specifically regulate the activities of representatives of the press and news agencies in the area where the National Assembly session takes place.
