1. What is the Vietnam Relief Association For Handicapped Children?

- The association took the name: "Hội Cứu trợ trẻ em tàn tật Việt Nam" and the international transaction name is: "Vietnam Relief Association For Handicapped Children".

- Vietnam Relief Association For Handicapped Children is a charitable social organization of people who have a charitable and humanitarian heart and voluntarily contribute their public, property, strength, and intelligence to the Association's activities, regardless of ethnicity, religion, class, or social status.

- The association works with the aim of contributing to making disabled children free from suffering and unhappiness, protected and cared for in accordance with the Law on Child Protection, Care, and Education of the State of Vietnam and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The highest purpose of the Association is to help disabled children live an equal life in the community.

- The Association operates in accordance with the laws of the State of Vietnam, is a member of: the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the International Children's Relief Alliance, and is under the State management of the Committee for Population, Family, and Children in the field of activities of the association.

- The Association operates nationwide, has legal status, its own seal, and an account at the Bank.

The headquarters of the Association are located in Hanoi.

2. Tasks of Vietnam Relief Association For Handicapped Children

The main tasks of the Vietnam Relief Association For Handicapped Children are:

- Mobilize to gather, receive help, material and spiritual contributions from individuals and collectives, social, charity, and humanitarian organizations at home and abroad to:

+ Organize medical examination and treatment, treatment, rehabilitation, literacy, vocational training, career guidance, create free jobs for disabled children, organize economic activities, and facilitate services. for disabled children to be able to work and support themselves, to benefit their families and society, and to live in equal harmony with the community.

+ Coordinate with state agencies and other socio-political organizations to protect the legitimate interests of disabled children and contribute to the care and education of Vietnamese children.

+ Exchange experiences on the organization and operation methods of the Association domestically and internationally in order to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of the Association's activities.

- Promote propaganda on children's rights among the people and disseminate basic knowledge on the prevention of disabilities for children.

- Coordinate with State agencies, social organizations, mass organizations, and other charitable organizations.
actively strive for children's rights to exercise and fight against all acts of violence and abuse infringing upon children's dignity and right to life.

- Through the performance of tasks, advanced training for members in responsibility, love, compassion, and patriotic spirit, striving for a just, democratic, and civilized society, contributes to the education of children into cultured, scientific, and healthy, civilized, and polite workers.

- Expand international cooperation relations with humanitarian organizations, charities, and other organizations and individuals in the region and around the world in accordance with the law.

- Protect the legitimate rights and interests of the Association and its members, protecting their dignity and honor. Promote the development of association organizations and members and build a strong association.

- Contribute ideas and advice on issues within the scope of the activities of the Association at the request of organizations and individuals.

- Give opinions on legal documents related to the activities of the Association in accordance with the law. Propose to competent state agencies issues related to the development of the Association and its field of operation.

- Coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations to perform the tasks of the Association.

- Establish affiliated units, production-business, service establishments, companies, clinics, hospitals, etc. in accordance with the law.

- Build the Association fund on the basis of membership fees and revenues from business activities, services, and domestic and foreign grants in accordance with the law.
