1. What is Vietnam Association of Asthma, Allergy & Clinical Immunology?

- Vietnam Association of Asthma, Allergy & Clinical Immunology (hereinafter referred to as the Association) is a voluntary social-professional organization of Vietnamese citizens and organizations operating in the field of asthma, allergy, and clinical immunology and fields related to research on the treatment and prevention of asthma, allergy, and immunology diseases, voluntarily established.

- Purpose of the Association: to gather and unite members, protect the legitimate rights and interests of members, support each other to operate effectively, and contribute to the overall development of the medical industry.

2. Tasks of the Vietnam Association of Asthma, Allergy & Clinical Immunology

The tasks of the Vietnam Association of Asthma, Allergy & Clinical Immunology includes:

- Comply with legal regulations related to the organization and activities of the Association. Organize and operate according to the approved Charter of the Association. Do not take advantage of the Association's activities to harm national security, social order, morality, the fine customs and traditions of the nation, or the legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations.

- Gather and unite members; organize and coordinate activities among members for the common benefit of the Association; comply with the Association's principles and purposes to participate in the development of the field of asthma, allergy, and clinical immunology, contributing to building and developing the country's healthcare system.

- Disseminate and train members' knowledge; guide members to comply with the laws, regimes, and policies of the State and the Association's Charter, regulations, and regulations.

- Representing members to participate and make recommendations to competent agencies on guidelines and policies related to the fields of asthma, allergies, and clinical immunology according to the provisions of law.

- Mediate disputes, resolve recommendations, feedback, complaints, and denunciations within the Association according to the provisions of law.

- Develop and promulgate ethical rules in the Association's activities.

- Manage and use the Association's funding sources in accordance with the provisions of law.

- Perform other tasks when requested by competent authorities.

3. Powers of the Vietnam Association of Asthma, Allergy & Clinical Immunology

The powers of the Vietnam Association of Asthma, Allergy & Clinical Immunology are specified in Article 6 of the Charter (amended) of the Vietnam Association of Asthma, Allergy & Clinical Immunology issued together with Decision 442/QD-BNV in 2023, including:

- Propagate the Association's principles and purposes according to the provisions of law.

- Represent members in internal and external relationships related to the functions and tasks of the Association.

- Protect the legitimate rights and interests of members in accordance with the principles and purposes of the Association according to the provisions of law.

- Participate in programs, projects, research topics, consulting, criticism, and social assessment at the request of state agencies; provide public services on issues in the fields of asthma, allergies, and clinical immunology; organize vocational training and vocational training according to the provisions of law.

- Contribute opinions on legal documents related to the Association's activities according to the provisions of the law. Make recommendations to competent state agencies on issues related to the development of the Association and the fields of asthma, allergy, and clinical immunology. Participate in organizing training, fostering, and other service activities according to the provisions of the law.

- Coordinate with relevant agencies and organizations to carry out the Association's tasks.

- Establish a legal entity under the Association according to the provisions of the law to perform a number of tasks suitable to the field of operation of the Association.

- Raise funds for the Association on the basis of membership dues and revenues from business and service activities according to the provisions of law to cover operating expenses.

- Receive legal funding sources from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals according to the provisions of law.

- Join corresponding international organizations and sign and implement international agreements according to the provisions of law after obtaining the unanimous opinion of the competent authority and the state management agency in charge of the industry and field in which the Association operates, the agency decides to allow the establishment of the Association by joining the corresponding international organization and signing and implementing international agreements.
