Subjects eligible for Covid-19 vaccine vaccination are specified in the Temporary Guidelines for pre-vaccination screening for COVID-19 vaccine issued together with Decision 2995/QD-BYT dated June 18, 2021.
Subjects eligible for vaccination against COVID-19 in Vietnam (Illustration)
Persons of vaccination age in Vietnam as recommended in the manufacturer's instructions for use and not hypersensitive to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in the vaccine composition.
- Not belong to the following cases:
(1) Subjects who require consideration in vaccination in Vietnam
- People with a history of allergies to other allergens.
- People with underlying diseases and chronic diseases are treated stably.
- People who are unconscious or lack behavioral capacity.
- People over 65 years old
- People with a history of thrombocytopenia and/or coagulopathy.
- People with chronic diseases have found abnormal vital signs:
+ Pulse: 60 beats/min or > 100 beats/min.
+ Diastolic blood pressure of 60 mmHg or higher and/or systolic blood pressure of 90 mmHg or higher.
+ Respiratory rate greater than 25 breaths per minute and/or SpO2 94% (if applicable).
(2) Subjects to postpone vaccination in Vietnam
- Have an ongoing, uncontrolled acute or chronic disease.
- People with severely impaired immune responses, end-stage cancer, decompensated cirrhosis, etc.
- Within the previous 14 days, there was high-dose corticosteroid therapy (equivalent to prednisolone 2 mg/kg/day for 7 days), or chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
- Infected with COVID-19 within 6 months.
- Pregnant women and women who are breastfeeding.
(3) Contraindications
- History of anaphylaxis grade 2 or higher with any allergen.
- There are any contraindications as declared by the manufacturer.
Decision 2995/QD-BYT takes effect from June 18, 2021 and annuls Decision 1624/QD-BYT dated March 18, 2021.
