Specific prices for utility irrigation products and public utility irrigation services in 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City

Resolution 14/NQ-HDND approving the specific price for hydraulic utility products and services in 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, for Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee to decide on specific prices for hydraulic utility products and services under their management authority as per regulations.

Applicable entities: Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, various Departments, the People's Committee of Thu Duc City, People's Committees of districts and counties, and relevant organizations and individuals involved in the management and exploitation of State-invested hydraulic infrastructure assets in Ho Chi Minh City.

The approved specific prices for hydraulic utility products and services in Ho Chi Minh City are as follows:

1. Price for hydraulic utility products and services for rice cultivation land

- In case of active irrigation and drainage by gravity (natural flow): VND 930,000/ha/season.

- In case of partial active irrigation and drainage, the price is 60% of the active irrigation and drainage by gravity: VND 558,000/ha/season.

- In case of only creating water sources for irrigation and drainage by gravity, the price is 40% of the active irrigation and drainage by gravity: VND 372,000/ha/season.

- In case of utilizing tidal water for irrigation and drainage, the price is 70% of the active irrigation and drainage by gravity: VND 651,000/ha/season.

- In case a separate price for irrigation and drainage on the same area is needed, the prices are as follows:

+ Irrigation price is 70% of the active irrigation and drainage by gravity: VND 651,000/ha/season.

+ Drainage price is 30% of the active irrigation and drainage by gravity: VND 279,000/ha/season.

2. Price for hydraulic utility products and services for seedling, vegetable, crop, and short-term industrial plants

- In case of active irrigation and drainage by gravity (natural flow): VND 372,000/ha/season.

- In case of partial active irrigation and drainage, the price is 60% of the active irrigation and drainage by gravity: VND 223,200/ha/season.

- In case of only creating water sources for irrigation and drainage by gravity, the price is 40% of the active irrigation and drainage by gravity: VND 148,800/ha/season.

- In case of utilizing tidal water for irrigation and drainage, the price is 70% of the active irrigation and drainage by gravity: VND 260,400/ha/season.

- In case a separate price for irrigation and drainage on the same area is needed, the prices are as follows:

+ Irrigation price is 70% of the active irrigation and drainage by gravity: VND 260,400/ha/season.

+ Drainage price is 30% of the active irrigation and drainage by gravity: VND 111,600/ha/season.

3. Price for hydraulic utility products and services for water supply for livestock breeding

The price for water supply for livestock breeding through reservoirs, canals: VND 900/m3.

4. Price for hydraulic utility products and services for water supply for aquaculture

- The price for water supply for aquaculture through reservoirs, canals: VND 600/m3 or VND 2,500,000/ha surface area/year (VND 250/m2 surface area/year).

- In case of water supply for aquaculture utilizing tidal water, the price is 50% of the above-stated price: VND 1,250,000/ha surface area/year.

5. Price for hydraulic utility products and services for water supply for long-term industrial plants, fruit trees, flowers, and medicinal plants

- The price for water supply for long-term industrial plants, fruit trees, flowers, and medicinal plants through reservoirs, canals: VND 840/m3.

- In case the price cannot be calculated per cubic meter (m3) for water supply for long-term industrial plants, fruit trees, flowers, and medicinal plants, the price is calculated per hectare (ha) as 80% of the hydraulic utility product and service price for rice cultivation land per year as regulated:

+ In case of active irrigation and drainage by gravity (natural flow): VND 744,000/ha/year.

+ In case of utilizing tidal water for irrigation: VND 520,800/ha/year.

6. Water drainage in rural and urban areas, except inner urban areas

The price is 5% of the hydraulic utility product and service price for rice cultivation land/season: VND 46,500/ha/season or VND 139,500/ha/year.

7. The above-stated prices for hydraulic utility products and services do not include value-added tax.
