On September 26, 2023, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Decision 2774/QD-BGDDT on the Training Program according to professional title standards for equipment and laboratory officers.
Specifically, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued requirements for organizing training according to standards for professional titles of equipment and laboratory officers as follows:
(1) Requirements for reporters
- Rapporteurs participating in teaching the program are lecturers of universities and colleges that train teachers and majors in the field of school equipment technology; Educational managers and scientists are experienced and knowledgeable about equipment and experiments.
- The rapporteur is a person with professional qualifications and experience in training and fostering civil servants.
- Rapporteurs need to invest in researching documents and regularly updating new knowledge, skills, and current policies in the field of state management of education.
- The lecturer teaching the program must combine theoretical teaching with typical demonstrations in practice.
(2) Requirements on content, form, and method of training
- Regarding content: Ensure that the training content closely follows the program and has enough documents and conditions to organize theoretical teaching activities, discussion, and practice activities; Self-research and self-study activities are mandatory requirements for training subjects of the program.
For the content of fact-finding and writing articles, educational institutions that organize training need to take into account practical conditions and arrange time, human resources, and other conditions in a reasonable and scientific manner.
- Regarding the form of training organization: Depending on actual conditions, educational institutions that organize training choose the form of centralized training, either online or semi-centralized (a combination of centralized and online training), in a flexible, reasonable, and scientific way.
- Regarding methods: Strengthen the application of rich and diverse training methods, meeting the different needs of training subjects such as group collaborative teaching, participating in projects, etc., to discuss and find solutions to practical situations in different types of schools.
(3) Requirements for students
- Research documents before participating in class, actively participate in discussions, and do exercises as requested by the reporter.
- Actively apply the knowledge and skills learned to the work process.
- Be responsible for regular self-training to consolidate the knowledge and skills learned; continue to update knowledge, skills, and new guidance documents and regulations to apply in practice, meeting the job position requirements of the position of equipment and experiment officer.
(1) Training duration
- Total duration: 160 hours. In there:
+ Theory and practice: 130 periods.
+ Review and discussion: 10 periods.
+ Test: 02 hours.
+ Practical learning (visiting, surveying, listening to extracurricular reports), writing: 16 lessons.
+ Opening and closing lessons: 02 periods.
- Implementation time is 04 weeks x 05 working days/week x 08 periods/day = 160 periods. In the case of arranging intermittent training time to suit the working position of the student, the maximum implementation time is 06 weeks.
(2) Program structure
The program includes 7 topics, divided into 3 parts:
- Part 1: General knowledge.
- Part 2: Knowledge and professional skills of equipment and experiment staff.
- Part 3: Find out the facts and write a summary.
Decision 2774/QD-BGDDT takes effect from the date of signing and replaces Decision 4855/QD-BGDDT, dated December 17, 2019.
