1. Standards of transport inspectors in Vietnam from September 20, 2024

- The transport inspectors in Vietnam are officials belonging to the advisory organization assisting the Head of the agency assigned to perform the specialized inspection function under the Ministry of Transport; units under the agency assigned to perform the specialized inspection function under the Ministry of Transport.

- transport inspectors in Vietnam must meet the conditions and standards specified in Clause 3, Article 38 of the Inspection Law and the following conditions and standards:

+ transport inspectors in Vietnam of the Vietnam Road Administration, the Vietnam Railway Administration, the Vietnam Inland Waterway Administration must have a university degree or higher appropriate to the job position requirements in one of the fields related to transportation, construction, architecture, mechanics, information technology, telecommunications, law, economics, finance;

+ transport inspectors in Vietnam of the Vietnam Register must have a university degree or higher appropriate to the job position requirements in one of the technical fields related to the inspection of transport vehicles, equipment, or one of the fields related to law, finance.

2. Regulations on the insignia of transport inspectors in Vietnam from September 20, 2024

- The insignia includes shoulder straps and ranks worn on both shoulders of the specialized transportation inspector's uniform.

The insignia model is specified in Appendix III issued with Circular 29/2024/TT-BGTVT.

- Shoulder strap regulations:

Shoulder straps of transport inspectors in Vietnam are 13cm long, 4cm wide at the pointed end, and 5cm wide at the broader end; the insignia base is made of dark green felt fabric; the core of the insignia is made of pure white plastic; the star insignia is made of brass plated with shiny white, with a 3mm wide red fabric border; the insignia button is round with a star in the middle of 2 pine branches.

+ transport inspectors in Vietnam as the Head of the agency assigned to perform the specialized inspection function under the Ministry of Transport: shoulder straps are attached with 04 stars of 23mm in a vertical line on the shoulder straps, with two shiny white metal rank bars;

+ transport inspectors in Vietnam as the Deputy Head of the agency assigned to perform the specialized inspection function under the Ministry of Transport: shoulder straps are attached with 03 stars of 23mm in a vertical line on the shoulder straps, with two shiny white metal rank bars;

+ transport inspectors in Vietnam as the Head of the advisory department for specialized inspection and equivalent of the agency assigned to perform the specialized inspection function under the Ministry of Transport: shoulder straps are attached with 02 stars of 23mm in a vertical line on the shoulder straps, with two shiny white metal rank bars;

+ transport inspectors in Vietnam as the Deputy Head of the advisory department for specialized inspection and equivalent of the agency assigned to perform the specialized inspection function under the Ministry of Transport: shoulder straps are attached with 01 star of 23mm in the middle of the shoulder straps, with two shiny white metal rank bars;

+ transport inspectors in Vietnam: shoulder straps with 01 star of 23mm in the middle above 01 white rank stripe.

3. Management and use of the uniform of transport inspectors in Vietnam from September 20, 2024

- The uniform of transport inspectors in Vietnam is used when performing inspection tasks, attending conferences, traditional days, and other ceremonies related to inspection activities as prescribed.

- transport inspectors in Vietnam are responsible for managing and using the uniform provided in accordance with Circular 29/2024/TT-BGTVT and other relevant legal regulations.

- The agency assigned to perform the specialized inspection function under the Ministry of Transport is responsible for issuing uniforms in accordance with Circular 29/2024/TT-BGTVT.
