Circular 16/2022/TT-BVHTTDL stipulates the statistical reporting regime of the culture, sports and tourism sector promulgated by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam.

Statistical reporting regime for the culture, sports, and tourism sectors in Vietnam 

1. Content of reporting regime

- Statistical reporting regime prescribes the list of reports, report forms, and guides and explains the report forms in order to collect and synthesize statistical information under the National Statistical Indicator System assigned to them. The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the System of Statistical Indicators of the Culture, Sports, and Tourism Sector are specified in Circular 11/2021/TT-BVHTTDL.

- Statistical reporting regime of the culture, sports, and tourism industries includes:

+ The list and system of statistical report forms are specified in Appendix I, issued together with Circular 16/2022/TT-BVHTTDL.

+ Instructions and explanations on how to record the statistical report forms specified in Appendix II issued together with Circular 16/2022/TT-BVHTTDL.

2. Symbolic symbols

Symbols include numbers and letters. The 4-digit part numbered in the order 1101, from 2101 to 2120, from 3101 to 3105, from 4101 to 4111, and from 5101 to 5104 is used to classify fields and statistics on the number of report forms.

The uppercase letters are the abbreviations of the reporting period (N: year; H: mixture of quarterly and annual reporting periods), statistical field (VH: culture; GD: family; TDTT: physical training and sports; DL: tourism), and the subjects responsible for reporting (SVHTTDL: Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; Department of Culture and Sports; Department of Tourism).

3. Reporting period

Statistical reporting period is a certain period of time that requires the subject of a statistical report to show the results of its activities with data according to the statistical criteria in the statistical report form. The reporting period is recorded in each statistical form (under the name of the report form) and calculated according to the calendar day, including:

- Quarterly statistical reports: Quarterly statistical reports are calculated from the first day of the first month of the statistical reporting period to the end of the last day of the third month of the statistical reporting period.

- Annual statistical report: The annual statistical report is calculated from January 1 to the end of December 31.

- Unscheduled reports: Statistical reports are made to serve the requirements of state management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

4. Report deadline: The date of receiving the report is specified in the upper left corner of each statistical form.

5. Report submission method

- Paper documents signed and stamped by the head of the agency or unit.

- Via the electronic document system, which is presented in two forms: pdf file format of paper documents or as an electronic file authenticated by the digital signature of the head of the agency or unit.

- Forms in the field of tourism: Send and receive reports directly on the tourism statistical report receiving software system managed by the National Administration of Tourism and authenticated by the account registered on the software at http://thongke.tourism.vn.

6. Agencies and units that report and receive reports in Vietnam

- Reporting agencies and units:

+ The Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism is responsible for reporting the forms in the fields of culture, family, physical training, sports, and tourism.

+ The Department of Culture and Sports is responsible for reporting the Forms in the fields of culture, family, physical training, and sports.

+ The Department of Tourism is responsible for reporting the Tourism Sector Forms.

The reporting agency or unit is specified in the upper right corner of each report form.

- Agencies and units receiving reports: Agencies and units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism are assigned to be responsible for collecting and synthesizing statistical indicators according to Circular 11/2021/TT-BVHTTDL.

The agency or unit receiving the report is specified in the upper right corner of each report form.
