The Central Propaganda Department has Instruction 83-HD/BTGTW dated December 5, 2022 guiding propaganda to celebrate major holidays and important historical events in 2023.

In particular, the instructions for propaganda to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam are as follows:

In Instruction 83-HD/BTGTW, the propaganda content to celebrate the 93rd founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam includes:

(1) The glorious historical tradition of the Communist Party of Vietnam;

The great victories and great achievements of the country under the leadership of the Party;

Affirming the role, prestige, bravery, intelligence, and leadership capacity, ruling capacity, and fighting strength of the Party during the revolutionary journey of the past 93 years.

(2) Affirming that socialism is the goal and ideal of the Communist Party of Vietnam and our people;

Going up to socialism is the right and wise choice of the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and our people;

Highlighting the great achievements of historical significance on Vietnam's path to socialism, especially after more than 35 years of implementing the country's renovation work.

(3) The results and lessons learned in the work of building and rectifying the Party through the terms of the Party Congress, and implementing:

+ Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (terms XI, XII);

+ Conclusion 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the Fourth Conference of the Party Central Committee (term XIII) on accelerating the building and rectification of the Party and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling, and strictly handling cadres and party members who have degraded in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle, manifesting "self-evolution", "self-transformation"  associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh ideology;

+ Regulation 37-QD/TW dated October 25, 2021 on what party members are not allowed to do;

+ Resolution 28-NQ/TW dated November 17, 2022, of the 6th Conference of the Party Central Committee on continuing to renew the Party's leadership and ruling methods over the political system in the new period;

+ Conclusion 14-KL/TW dated September 22, 2021 of the Politburo on the policy of encouraging and protecting dynamic and creative cadres for the common good;

+ Conclusion 12-KL/TW dated April 6, 2022 of the Politburo on continuing to strengthen the leadership of the Party in the fight against corruption and negativity; affirming the political determination of the Party and State in the fight against corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; constantly improving the leadership capacity and combat strength of the Party organization; and building the Party and political system more and more clean and strong.

(4) Results of tasks in socio-economic development, national defense, security, and foreign affairs;

Solutions to ensure social security and support enterprises in production and business in 2022;

Affirming the wise, close, and timely leadership of the Party and State, the effective supervision and companionship of the National Assembly;

With the drastic and methodical direction and management of the Government and the Prime Minister, the solidarity and coordination of all levels and branches, the participation of the whole political system, and the efforts to strive of the entire Party, people and army, in 2022, the country will have successfully and comprehensively accomplished its goals and tasks:

+ Focus on disease prevention,

+ Promote socio-economic recovery and development, build an independent and self-reliant economy in association with proactive and active international integration deeply and effectively.

(5) Propaganda on Directive No. 19-CT/TW dated November 18, 2022 of the Secretariat on the organization of the Lunar New Year in 2023;

The traditional cultural values, customs, and fine practices of the Vietnamese nation every time the New Year comes to Spring;

Awareness of obeying the law on traffic safety, fire and explosion prevention, security assurance, and food safety;

Practice thrift, fight waste, and criticize acts contrary to Vietnamese culture, ethics, fine customs and traditions, and commercialization in festival activities taking place before, during, and after the Lunar New Year.

(6) Activities to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Party and the Lunar New Year;

The activities of "returning gratitude", visiting and encouraging wounded soldiers, policy families, people with meritorious services to the country, revolutionary veterans, personnel, intellectuals, writers, and artists, reputable people among ethnic minorities, typical religious dignitaries, armed forces units, standing forces on duty during Tet, especially in border areas, islands, difficult areas, and complicated terrain in terms of political security, social order, and safety;

People in difficult circumstances, people living in deep-lying, remote areas, border areas, islands, ethnic minority areas in mountainous areas;

Workers working in economic zones, industrial parks, and export processing zones lose their jobs.

(7) Strengthen the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fight and refute information; oppose the Party and State, and divide the great national unity bloc.

Activities to celebrate the 93rd Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam

Activities to celebrate the 93rd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Instruction 83-HD/BTGTW include:

- Central Committee: Leaders of the Party, State, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, representatives of leaders of departments, ministries, branches, central mass organizations, and Hanoi city visit the Mausoleum to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh.

And commemorate the heroes and martyrs at the monument on Bac Son Street, Hanoi: The Government Office shall assume the prime responsibility and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize.

- Boards, ministries, branches, and central and local mass organizations, depending on specific conditions, organize commemorative activities, such as:

+ Organize and launch patriotic emulation movements; select, train, and foster the elite masses, introduce them to Party organizations for consideration and admission on the occasion of February 3.

+ Organize seminars, scientific seminars, meet typical party members, and welcome cultural - artistic, physical training - sports activities.

+ Well organize the work of information and propaganda in the press, electronic information pages, social networks, visual promotion means, conferences of reporters and propagandists; through propaganda...
