Regarding this matter, LawNet would like to answer as follows:

The procedures for issuing certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business for Yoga are regulated in Decision 775/QD-BVHTTDL in 2024 as follows:

1. Documents required for issuing certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business for Yoga in Vietnam

- Document requirements:

(1) Application for issuing certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business (according to Form No. 02 Appendix III of Decree 36/2019/ND-CP dated March 15, 2024)

(2) Copy of the business registration certificate;

(3) Summary of the preparation of business conditions (according to Form No. 3 Appendix of Decree 36/2019/ND-CP dated April 29, 2019), including:

- Quantity of documents: One (01) set.

- Submission method: submission through the post office, electronically, or direct submission.

2. Procedures for issuing certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business for Yoga in Vietnam

- The business submits the application through the post office, electronically, or directly to the specialized sports agency under the provincial People's Committee where the sports business activities are registered or where the business has its main office in case the business has multiple locations for sports business activities.

- The specialized sports agency under the provincial People's Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Certificate-issuing agency) issues a receipt for the application to the business.

- In case the application needs to be amended or supplemented, the Certificate-issuing agency directly notifies or sends a written notice to the business regarding the content to be amended or supplemented within three (03) working days from the date of receiving the application.

3. Conditions for issuing certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business for Yoga in Vietnam

(1) Physical facilities:

a) Flat and non-slip training floor.

b) The distance from the training floor to the ceiling of the building is not less than 2.7m.

c) Well-ventilated training space with a minimum light intensity of 150 lux.

d) Sanitary facilities, changing rooms, storage for personal belongings of trainees, first aid kit, and initial first aid equipment.

e) Regulations on the following main contents: Training hours, trainees, individuals not allowed to participate in training, attire for training, safety measures during training, and other regulations.

(2) Equipment:

* Training equipment:

- Ensuring each trainee has 01 personal training mat or a large mat on the floor.

- For Yoga fly movements: a silk hammock (rope) capable of withstanding at least 300 kg of weight, installed on a suspension system that ensures the safety of the trainee. The length of the rope can be adjusted to fit the trainee's posture.

- Supporting equipment for Yoga training must ensure safety and not pose a danger to the trainee.

* Equipment for competition:

- Ensuring each person has 01 personal mat or a large mat on the floor.

- Having communication devices for organizing members and managing the competition.

- Timer, time board, score board, speaker, and boundary lines for the competition field.

(3) Training density:

- The density on the floor ensures a minimum of 2.5m2/01 person.

- Each trainer should not have more than 30 trainees in one hour of instruction.

(4) Professional staff: Have a team of suitable professional officers and employees for the activities.
