Regarding this matter, LawNet would like to answer as follows:
The procedures for issuing certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business for badminton are regulated in Decision 775/QD-BVHTTDL in 2024 as follows:
- Documents include:
(1) Application for issuing certificates of eligibility for doing the sports business (according to Template 02, Appendix III of Decree 31/2024/ND-CP dated March 15, 2024)
(2) Copy of the business registration certificate;
(3) Summary of the preparation of business conditions (according to template 3, Appendix of Decree 36/2019/ND-CP dated April 29, 2019), including:
- Number of sets of documents: (01) set.
- Submission methods: submitting documents via postal service or electronic environment, or submitting directly.
- Businesses submit documents via postal service or electronic environment or submit directly to the specialized agency for physical education and sports under the People's Committee at the provincial level where the place for conducting sports activities is registered or where the business has its main office in the case of businesses with multiple locations for conducting sports activities.
- The specialized agency for physical education and sports under the People's Committee at the provincial level (hereinafter referred to as the certificate-issuing agency) issues a receipt for the documents to the business.
- In case the documents need to be revised or supplemented, the certificate-issuing agency shall notify the business directly or in writing of the content that needs to be revised or supplemented within a period of 03 working days from the date of receiving the documents.
(1) Infrastructure and training equipment
a) Badminton court:
- Minimum length of 15.40m and minimum width of 8.10m;
- Flat surface, non-slip.
b) Court dimensions:
- For doubles court: Length of 13.40m, width of 6.10m, diagonal length of the court is 14.723m;
- For singles court: Length of 13.40m, width of 5.18m, diagonal length of the court is 14.366m;
- The sidelines and boundary lines have a width of 4cm;
- The distance from the horizontal and vertical sidelines to the surrounding wall and to the adjacent court is at least 01m;
- For indoor badminton courts, the height from the court surface to the ceiling is at least 8m, the walls of the facility must not be made of dazzling or reflective materials.
c) The height of the net is 1.55m, the net post is cylindrical, sturdy, and stands straight when the net is stretched. The net posts and accessories must not be placed inside the court.
d) The net is made of nylon or synthetic material with a dark color, the mesh size is not smaller than 15mm or larger than 20mm, the upper edge of the net is covered with white trim.
e) Ensuring the lighting on the court is at least 150 lux.
g) Having a first aid kit as required by the Ministry of Health, a changing and storage area, and sanitation facilities.
(2) Infrastructure and competition equipment
- Each court has cleaning tools for maintaining the court's surface.
- The infrastructure and competition equipment for badminton competitions must meet the conditions specified in points a, b, c, d, and e of Section (1) mentioned above.
(3) Classroom density: Each instructor should not guide more than 20 people in one training session.
(4) Professional staff: having a team of professional staff suitable for the activities' content.
