1. Procedures for issuing Certificate for inspectors of machine, equipment or materials with strict requirements on occupational safety used in construction in Vietnam

* Documentation:

The dossier for issuing a certificate for inspectors of machine, equipment or materials with strict requirements on occupational safety used in construction includes:

- Application for issuing the inspector's certificate;

- A certified copy of the applicant's university graduation degree or present the original for comparison;

- Documents proving compliance with the standards stipulated in Clause 3 and 4, Article 9 of Decree No. 44/2016/ND-CP dated May 15, 2016, by the Government of Vietnam;

- 02 color photos size 3x4 of the applicant taken within 06 months from the application date.

* Procedure:

- Individuals in need of obtaining an inspector's certificate for inspecting machines, equipment, and materials with strict safety requirements used in construction send the application dossier to the One-Stop Division of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, address 37 Le Dai Hanh Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi;

- Within 05 working days from the date of receiving a complete dossier as prescribed, the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam is responsible for issuing the Certificate to the inspector. In case of not issuing the inspector's certificate, a written response stating the reason must be provided.

2. Procedures for reissuing certificate for inspectors of machine, equipment or materials with strict requirements on occupational safety used in construction in Vietnam

* Documentation:

- In case of supplementing or amending the content of the inspector's certificate, the dossier includes:

+ Application for reissuing the inspector's certificate;

+ The original issued Certificate;

+ Documents proving compliance with the request for supplement or amendment;

+ 02 color photos size 3x4 of the applicant taken within 6 months from the application date.

- Dossier for reissuing the inspector's certificate when expired includes:

+ Application for reissuing the inspector's certificate;

+ The original issued certificate;

+ The result of examination before reissuing.

- In case the inspector's certificate is damaged or lost, the dossier includes:

+ Application for reissuing the inspector's certificate;

+ 02 color photos size 3x4 of the applicant taken within 06 months from the application date.

- An inspector's certificate that has been revoked shall be considered for reissuing, the dossier includes:

+ Application for reissuing the inspector's certificate;

+ Report on the implementation of requirements and recommendations of the competent authority for rectifying violations;

+ Documents proving completion of training and examination achieving the requirements for occupational safety technical inspection in the case of inspecting an individual who has not worked for any inspection organization for 12 months or more, conducting inspections not following procedures;

+ 02 color photos size 3x4 of the applicant taken within 06 months from the application date.

* Procedure:

- Individuals in need of reissuing an inspector's certificate for inspecting machines, equipment, and materials with strict safety requirements used in construction send the application dossier to the One-Stop Division of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, address 37 Le Dai Hanh Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi;

- Within 05 working days from the date of receiving a complete dossier as prescribed, the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam is responsible for reissuing the Certificate to the inspector. In case of not reissuing the inspector's certificate, a written response stating the reason must be provided.
