1. Persons responsible for announcing and providing information to the press for the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam

- The person who makes the statement and provides information to the press of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism:

+ Minister.

+ The person assigned by the Minister to speak and provide information to the press regularly.

+ The responsible person who is authorized by the Minister to make a statement or is assigned the task of coordinating with the spokesman to make a statement or provide information to the press on specific issues assigned is the head of the State management consulting units of the Ministry that do not fall into the cases specified in Clause 2 of this Article.

- Persons who make statements and provide information to the press about departments under the Ministry:

+ The person who makes the statements and provides information to the press of the Departments is the Director of the Department.

+ In case the Director is unable to do so, he or she may authorize the deputy, who is the person assigned to be in charge of the agency to make the announcement and provide information to the press.

- The spokesperson's full name, position, phone number, and email address must be published in writing to the state management agencies in charge of the press and posted on the Ministry of Information and Communications' website.

- In case the person assigned by the Minister to speak and provide information to the press regularly cannot make a statement and provide information to the press, they must report to the Minister to authorize a responsible person under the Ministry to make statements and provide information to the press.

- The authorization to speak is done in writing, is only applied in each specific case, and has a certain time limit.

The person authorized to speak cannot authorize another person, and the authorized person is responsible for the content of the statement and the provision of information to the press.

2. Principles of announcing and providing information to the press of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam

- Spokesperson, an authorized person to speak on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to speak and provide information to the press. The information provided to the press is the official information on the activities and views of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

- The announcement and provision of information for the press should ensure accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency, and be consistent with the principles and purposes of each press agency.

- Individuals under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism who are not assigned the task of announcing and providing information to the press may do so in accordance with the law, but not on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism. They must also take legal responsibility for the content of the information they provide.

3. Forms of announcing and providing of information to the press by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Vietnam

- Organizing press conference.

- Posting statements and providing information on the portal, website, or official social networking site of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism or related units of the Ministry.

- Directly announcing to or giving interviews to journalists and reporters.

- Sending press releases, responses to press agencies, journalists, or reporters in writing or by email.

- Providing information through direct exchange or at press briefings, regular or extraordinary press conferences held at the central or local level when required.

- Issuing a written request to the press agency to publish, issue feedback, correct, or apologize for information content in the press.
