Establishment of a National Steering Committee to overcome the consequences of bombs and mines and toxic chemicals after the war in Vietnam on the Basis of the State Steering Committee on the National Action Program on overcoming the consequences of landmines and Mines After the War and the National Steering Committee for Remediation of the consequences of toxic chemicals used by the US in the War in Vietnam, including the following members:
* Head of Committee: Prime Minister.
* Vice Chairmen:
- Minister of National Defense, Standing Deputy Head of the Standing Committee;
- Minister of Natural Resources and Environment;
- Minister of Labor - Invalids, and Social Affairs;
- Minister, Chairman of Government Office.
* The Commissioners:
- Deputy Minister of National Defense (Permanent Member);
- Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment;
- Deputy Minister of Labor - Invalids, and Social Affairs;
- Deputy Minister of Science and Technology;
- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs;
- Deputy Minister of Health;
- Deputy Minister of Public Security;
- Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment;
- Deputy Minister of Finance;
- Deputy Minister of Information and Communications;
- Deputy Minister of Justice;
- Leader of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations.

- Study and propose to the Prime Minister directions and solutions to solve important and interdisciplinary issues on overcoming the consequences of landmines and toxic chemicals after the war; solutions to mobilize and mobilize funding to attract domestic and foreign resources to quickly overcome the consequences of bombs, mines, and toxic chemicals after the war in Vietnam.
- Assist the Prime Minister in directing the development of 5-year and annual plans for the implementation of national action plans and programs to overcome the consequences of landmines and toxic chemicals after the war; coordinate the work of overcoming the consequences of landmines and toxic chemicals among ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies attached to the Government and the People's Committees of the relevant provinces and centrally-run cities during the implementation of the program, the plan has been approved.
- Assist the Prime Minister in urging relevant Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, Governmental agencies, and People's Committees of centrally-affiliated cities and provinces to implement interdisciplinary issues on overcoming the consequences of bombs, mines, and toxic chemicals after the war.
- Prepare regular and irregular reports on the post-war consequences of bombs, mines, and toxic chemicals in Vietnam.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Prime Minister.

- Operation regulations of the Steering Committee are decided by the Chairman.
- The members of the Steering Committee work on a part-time basis.
- Head of the committee uses the seal of the Prime Minister; the deputy heads of the committee use the seal of the agency where they work.
- In case there is a change of leadership representative participating in the Steering Committee, the relevant agency shall report in writing to the Head of the Steering Committee to supplement and adjust the members of the Steering Committee.
