How to Register Online for the 2nd Dose of Covid-19 Vaccine in Vietnam

Step 1: Look Up COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate for First Dose

- Access the Vaccination Registration Portal at: https://tiemchungcovid19.gov.vn/portal/search (no login required).

- Fill in the information to look up the vaccination certificate:

+ Full Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Phone Number (Mandatory information).

+ ID/Passport Number; Health Insurance Card Number (Optional information).

- After filling in the information, select Look Up.

- Enter the verification code received via SMS to your registered phone number, then select Confirm

Step 2: Register for the Second Dose

After confirming the OTP sent to your phone number, the system will display the result of your COVID-19 first dose vaccination certificate. Continue by selecting “Register for the next dose”.

Step 3: Fill in the Registration Information for the Next Dose

1. Information of the Person Registering for Vaccination

Note:

- Fields marked with (*) are mandatory.

- Fields for “Province/City”, “District”, “Ward/Commune” should be based on your current address.

2. Vaccination Registration Information

- Desired vaccination date (expected): Based on the type of vaccine received for the first dose, calculate the expected date for the second dose according to the following principle:

The general principle is to receive the same type of vaccine for both doses.

According to the guidance of the Ministry of Health in Official Dispatch 6030/BYT-DP dated July 27, 2021, note the following:

- Desired Vaccination Session: Can choose Morning/Afternoon/All day.

3. First Dose Vaccination History

Information such as the name of the first dose vaccine, vaccination date, and vaccine batch number are already available in the system. You only need to fill in your reaction after the first dose and finally select “Continue”

Step 4: Medical History Information

The system lists the medical history information, allowing the vaccination registrant to choose according to the criteria:

+ Yes

+ No

+ Unknown

After selecting, press "Continue" to move to Step 5.

Step 5: Confirm Vaccination Consent

Read the advisory information; if you agree to get vaccinated, select “Agree to Vaccinate” and “Confirm”.

After confirmation, the system will send an OTP to the registered phone number, and you will receive the Vaccination Booking Code.

Thus, the registration for the second COVID-19 vaccination dose is completed.
